The first husband really did love her, however he take advantage on it, now that the trust have broken, it can never be mended, second husband is true to his feeling.. He is more sincere to the FL.. he deserves to be with her… The first husband should accepted the outcome of his infidelity and move on from life and learn from mistakes.. In that way everyone can have peace..

Actually it doesn’t make sense don’t you think so? I don’t think anyone who claims to love someone else so much and till death would ever do such a thing. If one can choose to commit adultery it just shows how much they care or love their other half, the fact that you mention that he did love her is true, but if in reality maybe probably not that much bcos he chose do what she hated the most. Tbh it’s just short drama fiction which is probably why his ‘love and affection’ towards the FL was blown so much out of proportion for dramatic effect, not representing much of reality 😅

this story was too extreme. Her husband did love her but was tricked by the scheming lady, anyway giving him execution in the end was too harsh. the crown prince and FL running away in the last was really silly and stupid. Running away from ur duties, you could have taken the throne and change the rules for a better society, even could have restricted people to have one wife. Having lots of wives and concubines was a common thing in those days, she was born and been living in the same society, its was a norm for them, still exaggerated. The story could have been better, i know it was fiction but still too dramatic.

反正就是男女主兩個都不長嘴，白白被反派鑽空子的故事 要是早早說明白： 1. 女主殖蠱與男主以命換命共享壽命氣運 2. 男主不願女主因懷孕而傷及性命（至少可以可以讓女主有選擇自己要不要孩子） 3. 婆婆為求後下藥把女配送上男主床（坦白後與女配斷乾淨，女主或許不悅但至少可以諒解） 不過這樣應讓就是甜寵劇了吧🤣🤣

This is a costume version of the “My Husband Cheated on Me, So I Left for Good”-story with decent actors. As usual it has a FL who promised to leave him for good if he ever cheated. I liked this adamant/strong/kind FL, but I couldn’t help feeling a tiny bit sorry for ML who had valid reasons for doing the things he did (except for the cheating) but went about it the totally wrong way. Despite the missing subs every now and then, this is a nice watch. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is married to the man (ML), the Marquis, she loves and whom she saved by having a doctor use a forbidden technique (a “Love Gu”), leading the two of them to share her lifespan. But what he doesn’t know is that saving him that way is the reason for her being close to infertile. Now the two of them are seen as a perfect couple and him apparently using his heartblood to make medicine for her, makes him sound like a saint. Sadly, one day, FL witnesses him secretly meeting another woman and overhears them talk about how he has been giving her contraceptives, not medicine, these last 3 years. She realizes that he never wanted to have children with her and is already having an affair with this other woman (2FL). Later 2FL provokes her and tells her that he didn’t want FL to be pregnant in order for 2FL to enter the mansion as his concubine - and that she is already pregnant. Utterly disappointed with ML, FL takes advantage of him being away, to have 2FL marry into the mansion as his wife - much to 2FL’s surprise. And then she writes a divorce letter, leaves their love token, removes the “Love Gu” from her body - severing their shared lifespan - and leaves, just as she told him she would if he ever betrayed her. This has a very happy but somewhat open ending.

It’s not a mistake 😂 he actively continue to go cheat repeatedly. His mom might have drugged him the first time but he continued to do it. Sure he’s not a monster but he’s no loyal man either. The green tea was right about that. It’s his own infidelity that end their relationship. If its not her it would be someone else. He just happens to pick the wrong one to cheat with. He prob didn’t need to die and it’s still an injustice that he was framed. But I guess life ain’t fair

I think this is my 13th version. 1st ancient period version. Saw a Xianxia version that was pretty good. This version did a good job with FL pulling the disappearing act for 3.5 years. I'm not sure I like the ML's outcome. I guess the execution was about embezzlement, which I'm not sure it's real or part of the 3rd Prince and mistress' scheme. I usually don't like death as an outcome because it's too easy. In this case, yes, he betrayed FL, but death wasn't necessary. There would be a lot of dead people if infidelity led to death. I'm glad this version focused more on FL finding a new life.

This story "DOESN'T make sense" in the historical setting because someone with a "Marquis" title is obliged to have a child if the legal wife can't conceive as having a decendant is the most important part of filial piety. Not only the social morals, but the law also stipulated it 😅 So the ML would be punished severaly if he didn't take any steps to have a child. The only thing he could have done is to discuss things with his wife first and honest about it.
