I like the ending😅😅😅 It is very consistent with her character. She had one objective during the whole movie - staying alive, so it makes sense that in the end she choose power over love. Especially when the presence of future concubines could threaten her position (no more Emperor, no more concubines) 😌😌😌

When the male lead asked the female lead did she beg to marry him, I agreed with her. She told him she knew he had someone else in his heart. She never volunteered for this marriage. But what choice did she have? The royal family granted her this marriage. What was she supposed to do? Refuse and put herself in danger. Accept the consequences of refusing the royal family? She did and is doing what she has to do to survive. Even if it means being in that marriage. He doesn't even know her, so what's he got to be so angry about? Why treat her so bad when she did nothing to him?

If you want a happy ending you should stop at 2:52:42 I’m so mad at this ending.. I honestly watched it for the male lead.. even though he is not typically handsome but in other dramas he always has charisma about him that I find attractive But in this, even though the Fl was doing things out of survival I just couldn’t find her likable.. it has nothing to do with her looks like the other comments.. I can’t decide if it’s the character or the actress’s mannerisms but I couldn’t connect with her

I love the plot but the female lead acting skill make it harder for me to keep watching till the end 😢 she's overacting that pitiful part, worse part when she's trying to act cute in the presence of the prince 😢 I don't like her acting. Her maid is overacting also and not suitable to be a maid.
