Movie 1: The abused FL is entangled with the husband who was an ego maniac throughout the movie. What really bugged me was that there was no true redemption. For example, when she was talking her heart out in the hospital why she couldn't forgive him, he just got angry that 'she was too full of herself despite his attempts to apologize.' Another thing that bothered me was how "supposedly" traumatized the FL was of her previous death and abondonment. But, he was touching and hughing her every chance he got and she was totally fine with it. It was like her rejection is only verbal. Finally, it takes soooo long for her to get back at her dad and mistress. Couldn't do a fart alone and even gets slapped during the first encounter. So basically there is nothing to like about it. Only 🤮 as she ends up with the husband.
