Every cdrama here on yt has a lot of slapping scenes 😂😂. It's quite acceptable in historical dramas but in modern drama i think it should be lessen or removed completely 😅😂 it's too much in my opinion.

I am very disgusted by the common stereotype of parents using and abusing the female of the family to support and spoil the male. The mothers' behavior and attitude are dirty and vicious. In this day and age can writers get their misoginistic heads out of their asses and write better roles for women!

I think they use misogynistic family situations as a bit of a hamfisted approach to giving the lead female character some trouble to overcome. But starting with such a low point gives the female lead huge growth potential. I agree with you that it is overused.
