Apparently, TVAC got into an accident in the 80s and got sued to hell and back because apparently the other driver "couldn't see the ambulance." Hence why they're heavy on the lights. Federal Signal also apparently gives them money to field test new lights.

Maxi Mustermann well when you got people who say they "didn't see the lights" you gotta do what they do, ik it rediculous but hey, can't use the "I didn't see the ambulance coming" excuse
@HighOnLife19856 жыл бұрын
@@maximustermann7939 Really? How about the driver not seeing the "too many lights" being more dangerous instead.

If anyone found the definition of too much light it is Teaneck lol
@dfw_fpis76559 жыл бұрын
Wow, I love this unit! My county's EMS only use red and white lights, and keep the number of lights to a minimum. I like seeing this one lit up like a Christmas tree with both red and blue lights. They seemed to have put a light everywhere they could.

That's what Teaneck Ambulance is known for.

nice but why y'all go with a different siren I like whelen better.
@NestorLewis9 жыл бұрын
+ericthesoldier when they purchased the ambulance they went for a slightly less expensive package, so instead of the Whelen Package, they went with the federal signal package, I was a little disappointed about no Whelen but the FedSig lights are just as bright, also the PA4000 Siren by FedSig I like so yea

From what I read, they got into an accident, driver claimed he didn't see them, sued them so now they have alot of lights from what I heard.
@jimmyg77686 жыл бұрын
Proud volunteer and now instead of saying they didn’t see them, the drivers can claim they hit them because the were dazzled by the ridiculous amount of lights they now have.
