Hey ya, I recently got Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 23 in a Humble Bundle deal and blown away by how much I can do, I do have one quick question regarding the fps in MultiCam capture, the lite version that comes with 23 is capped at 30fps or more specifically 29.62fps as I found out, I recorded a couple of videos of animated wallpapers on my pc and find playback to be very jerky, not smooth like expected, tried playback in vlc and windows 10 movies. Does the upgrade come with higher fps or is it stuck at 30fps, is there anyway to get better fps with it? Cheers

I am currently using Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 17, and what I noticed about the Live Screen Capturing is that it stops recording whenever I enter a game to record it (DotA 2 to be more specific). Is that fixed in the 22 version? I wanted to upgrade to it if MultiCam Capture solves that problem. Thanks

I noticed for each video file you can select a corresponding audio device. What about if you want to add only an audio device? Example record two cameras + one multitrack audio using an audio interface ASIO? Also once recorded I take it you can drag and drop all files into other editors like DaVinci Resolve?

I purchased this hoping I could stream some video from another laptop or stand alone DVR to archive, but it doesn't detect anything except the laptop built-in cam and desktop. What makes me think it will detect a camera plugged in, and what ports are used? I'm reading somewhere that it will detect something plugged into a USB port. Can I have more than one audio source per screen? I would like to record just my screen but have the sound and my mic come across in one clip. I don't want to have a webcam, just my screen. I bought Corel Videostudio Ultimate 2018, and Multicam Capture. I see now that Pinncle Studio is also a Corel software! What is the most advanced between the two: Videostudio or Pinnacle? I need a video editor to make my tutorials. Recording camera AND screen is a MUST for every video I do. What do you suggest? Shoud I buy the latest version of Pinnacle Studio, and use it instead Corel Videostudio?

Hey! a Multi-USB hub works yes. By default the software will begin with the screen recorder + your internal webcam (if you have one), and then will show any additional cameras you connect via USB.

My MultiCam Capture is not working. Pinnacle Studio 26, brand new i9 Win 11 computer, with 3 monitors. After adjusting to capture one of the side monitors (successful on the unique test done), now everytime I open the app it complains about a non existing camera (camera is there and can be seen within Studio) - it seems related to the secondary monitor, as if the app is trying to access it like an webcam. As the version included with Studio 26 allows only 2 devides, I disabled the webcam and primary monitor, and left only the intended monitor. But now I cannot even enter the app, as it closes sudenly a second after displaying the error message. I sent a message to Pinnacle, but had no answer. Sad that I'll need to buy another screen capture device having one that should do the work.

Which file format do the video streams get recorded in? This capture software is incredible if it can indeed record multiple video streams into a computer in sync as separate files, but I'd prefer to edit those files on Premiere or Resolve.

Hey! You pick the format and frame rate for the recording under settings (Mpeg, AVC...). Then after recording, you can output them as video files and a Pinnacle or VideoStudio file format.

Phone cameras are not detectable by MultiCam. You can capture webcam video, or plug in a digital camera to use instead and select it as the video source.

hi i just got this program and it won't screen record. i've tried several settings- recording the full screen, specific programs/windows i have open, but after i end the recording, it is always a black screen in the videos. in the preview while recording it shows what it is meant to be recording, but as soon as it exports to my folder, the video is a black screen but with working audio. does anyone have a solution?

Could be video settings. The same happens when with some screen capture programs you cannot capture from a streaming video and with other streaming it works. It has to do with certain video settings. I cannot tell exactly which settings it is a while since I encountered this.

MultiCam Capture Lite allows you to record video from two sources simultaneously. Those are typically a screen capture, and webcam video! You can also connect a camera to your computer and select it as the video source instead of your webcam video.

If you are recording with 2 video cameras without PC or laptop you can do it. Just remember you have to edit with the exact time frame of the audio. It is possible to record without using a computer.

Yes this can be done of course but indeed the audio can be a problem to sync.. Start the video and use a clapperboard or just clap in your hands. The spike of the audio track can be synced to the other track(s) That is why they use clapperboards in Hollywood for that reason and a board to write ID of the video track on it so they know what reel it is for editing. But I guess you knew that.

Nos meus tutoriais eu preciso gravar câmera e tela. Normalmente tenho usado o Camtasia para fazer este tipo de vídeo, mas o Camtasia tem muitos bugs, mesmo na versão mais recente (2018). E além disto, não existe sequer comparação entre a qualidade dos dois programas. O Corel Videostudio tem uma infinidade de recursos, e está nitidamente anos luz à frente do Camtasia. A dúvida que estou tendo é se o Pinnacle Studio é uma opção ainda melhor do que o Videostudio. Como estou começando a usar o programa agora, está em tempo de comprar o Pinnacle. O que você sugere? Uma outra dúvida: no caso do Corel Videostudio, ele não abre diretamente o Multicam Capture. São dois programas separados, independentes (se não estou errado). Hi Jovon, Hulu, Netflix and some other content streaming platforms block screen capturing of their content due to copyright protection, that will be the reason for your black screen. If you flip to another window, you should see that MultiCam is working properly! Hello, this is not a live program - so yes, you record the videos and then edit them before you upload it as you are looking for. You don't need an external converter (link above) to make this software work - you can simply plug your cameras into the USB ports on your computer and the software does the rest.

OBS does not record individual video feeds for post production. It only provides camera angles to use in a livestream for active switching, but the output video is only one final stream from the preview window. This is for recording a live event on 4 different feeds, then later revisiting the session in post and editing the content with each of the camera feeds simultaneously

This app has yet to work for me. It continues to record after hitting stop but puts up a generating video files timer and won't continue. Just freezes and never finishes. I paid $50 for this piece of shit software. Very disappointed
