I love these techniques. I edge ink from my stamp pads into my craft mat and spread it out with a waterbrush to get a similar inked effect. I made a stack of small tags, having seen this I may consider investing in a few waterbrush markers.

I have a new love as I start experimenting with water colour. I like your technique to apply smooshing so you can see it, these bases are the best as you can manage the focal areas and not have it all blur together. Thanks for sharing and educating us!
