Well I'm 17 , and I broke up friendship with my bestfriend for the exact same reason. It hurts, a lot , my stomach is fine , don't have so much pressure on my brain. It was really difficult , waking up without the goodmorning mssg , sleeping w/o the "goodnight 😊" message. But her presence used to hurt more than her absence. Eventually things became better. I ended up picking the broken pieces of myself. I talked to a lot of people , and the bravest thing I did was to let go , was to open up to my parents, was to ask for help. I get it , it might have ruined you but it's gonna frame you into a good strong man. All I would say in the end is that you focus on your work , on your goals , and not Invest in any woman without looking at the future prospects , and only when she makes it clear that she's interested. I do still cry at times , but the frequency is quite low. Eventually life is fine without her .
