She didn't treat all the hair the same because they are different textures and have different needs. She did however treat all their hair with love and care. The haircare needs of all children were met. That is what is important.

I am a psychologist and this woman is actually abusing her child. "My daughter is sad because she doesn't want to do hair day." "I'm not going to let my child walk out the door without her hair ." Having no empathy for others others is a symptom of both narcissism and psychopathy. Why can't she just have her natural hair? Making others conform to you is abuse.

you are so right. this is the first video i've ever seen on this channel and there's just so much love in it, it made me tear up a little. i wish my multicultural family was like this growing up. when i was young, nobody talked about it - people made it shameful. i remember being cared for as if i were white. my parents weren't cruel make no mistake, and i was cared for! but it took a long time for me to understand my own body, hair type, etc. and with hair especially, that meant undoing years of accidental damage. it makes me so happy to see a family able to embrace every member with love and understanding, and even happier to see that they can post it publicly online and show other people how truly important it is to create this loving environment. the number of people who are glad to see it and think it's beautiful, makes me tear up too. i remember hearing so many unkind things said about my family. people are still like they were when i was young, sometimes, but i see more and more people who are good and kind and it brings me hope for the world. sorry to ramble. it made me feel so warm to see this!

I totally agree, I’m so thankful that my daughter has such beautiful long straight dark hair it was so easy to keep control of lol, my son has hair like his dad and he always loved to have a trip to the barbershop, he still loves to go to the same barbershop he used to go to with his dad I think he feels close to his dad who sadly passed away from complications with sickle cell but now my son has a daughter who has really curly hair he went to get advice from his aunts to help with her hair, since having Bell I have had to learn how to do her hair so to see how a black woman demonstrate how she does her hair and her daughters hair has been a great help to me, it’s so fabulous how genetics works because I am white my husband was black my daughter has dark straight hair my son has his father’s hair his daughter has the same hair just a blonde brown colour and slightly more relaxed curls and my daughter has two girls who have the most thick luscious big curls, having a blended family is awesome and this mom makes my heart so happy I so wish I could have had her in my life when my kids were growing up I think she would have been such an inspiration to me as she is to my kids and their kids, for them to see a family just like ours is truly a blessing 🥰🥰🙏🏼

Lol, believe me, I try, but what do I do when my daughter does not want to wash her hair? Here in Brazil we wash hair in the shower (sinks do not have heated water, only on Very fancy house). Só she os always afraid of water or soap falling on her eyers. What I do? I wrap a Tower arround my belly, allow her to squeezy her face againist It, Tell her "always keep looking up". I allow her to dry her face everytime she wants. I massage her scalp, try to calm her down, but, somedays, she Just wants to scream. Idk what else to.

I’m normally really hesitant to watch any “family channels” because they can be really exploitative and controversial but the amount of love I’m this family is so evident. The first time I dated outside race I was astonished with the difference in hair texture. I'm northwest European and she's southeast Asian. I became obsessed with playing with her hair. The highlight of my week was when she let me shampoo and do her hair. She was the one who taught me about jojoba oil which I highly recommend as it strengthens hair. I have always had long hair myself but it would wear down at the ends at roughly half the rate it grew so it would take me ten years to grow two feet of hair and always looked ragged but it only took her five years for the same length and she always looked like a shampoo model. Then I started using jojoba oil and it was a huge difference. Instead of only getting 2.5 inches of additional hair per year I started getting 4 inches of additional length per year and now my hair is well lets say longer than most women's hair. My hair is naturally thin and brittle but it's now actually thick because the jojoba oil will infuse the individual hairs and increase their individual diameters. It's almost like I have extensions in my hair now. For any hair that is naturally brittle or tends to break or wear down easily I strongly recommend it. It also makes it far easier to comb. It's expensive but you only need a fraction of the amount people use of other oils. Stay away from coconut oil. it smells nice but does nothing but clog pores and inhibit growth. Jojoba is also good for very dry skin and really good for nails.

There are so many things to love about this video. One thing I thought was amazing was your shampoo buddy! How I would’ve loved that when my son was younger. I like that you made a chore such as washing your hair into a fun bonding experience. But I have to say my very favorite part was spa day and the man of the family catered to the women of the family. You have a truly awesome family!

This is so lovely to see!! You can really tell how much love and care you put into your little ones 💕 I’m adopted and I always dreaded when my mom did my hair because it was a battle and so painful for me. I didn’t like people touching my hair for years because of that. Gestures like this and getting to know your child are major bonding experiences and something your kids will always look back on fondly!

This is so sweet! Yes, you are treating your children as parents and loving on them and having these experiences as a family… but you are also setting the bar for what they should want, desire, aspire to have as individuals in their own relationships. Not to mention what your son is learning from his father… Love it! Such a genuine and kind family ❤

I hope Panda and Drue get the option of a spa day if they ever want one! Even though it's a lot of work and time, I'm so happy for Tiger, Cow, Badger, and Jeena. This one-on-one time is so valuable for bonding, and also teaches that taking care of one's self is something that is important and can be done thoughtfully. I love that Jeena uses lots of conditioner and is mindful of not pulling on hair. I hated any time my parents had to do my hair because it was only ever to get tangles or debris out and it always hurt a lot. I am tender-headed, but I can imagine if hair days were like this instead, I would have loving memories of these days and might find taking care of my body to be an easier/more appreciated thing for me.
