Just for your information miss, I hope next time you given an example of Nepalis then you make a difference between Nepalis from Nepal and Indian Nepalis as I am an Indian Nepali, and I am not an immigrant this is my country as well. Overall your post is very helpful.

Madam nepali are not here as an immigrant or beacuse of choice...we are the citizen of India....many nepali people's resides in different states of India specially darjelling which is our native place is a part of India so you can't say that nepali are here as a refugee or an immigrant ...even don't forget nepali language got official status in the 8th schedule of the Indian constitution on 31st august 1992 by the 71st amendment act of the Indian constutution
