Never thought about separating occupancy metrics that way - we've been lumping together physical and economic occupancy without tracking the gap. Started monitoring this last month and realized our 'great' 95% physical occupancy was masking a much lower economic occupancy. Really opened my eyes about the importance of proper tenant screening vs just filling units. Definitely rethinking how we look at our numbers now.
