I was supposed to do this for International Women's Day last week but I had a really rough week and didn't really do much. My mental health got quite bad and I didn't really know what to do with myself but I feel better now. Anyway, I got 2K subscribers last week, I'm on 2.1K now so I thought I'd upload this video for that instead.

@@peyton1940 1. Practice. You're probably not going to be very good at editing at first, none of us are. But don't give up, the more you'll practice, the better you'll get and you'll slowly get used to it and then ideas will just come to you. 2. Find a software program that you're comfortable with. Don't choose one just because it's the one that every other editor uses. Sony Vegas is very good, but if you don't like the layout or anything, other people use Final Cut Pro, etc. 3. Watch tutorials online. That really helped me when I was starting out, and I'll still look at tutorials for text effects and stuff now. 4. Get inspiration from other people. DON'T COPY. But there's nothing wrong with getting inspired by someone else's video as long as you don't make it look identical to theirs. 5. Upload videos frequently. Obviously, your personal life and stuff comes first if you're busy or whatever but try and post at least once a month, that's what I normally do. Comment on other people's videos too and try and build relationships with other editors on KZbin.
