I am happily married to a non Hmong person even his mom didn’t want him to marry me because she feared my kids will have a hearing loss too. My 3 kids came out perfect! ❤️❤️

Such a beautiful and sad song/storyline. I tear up because it reminded me of a recent neej neeg I heard. The neej neeg was about a blind Hmong girl and her love story. Her lover went home and she never heard from him or what happened to him until she is already in her old age. His parents didn't let him marry her. She was never married and is still alive today.

Thanks for capturing the emotions so well in this song. This happens when parents look lowly upon their own sons decision-making skills. Either they did raise a son who makes bad decisions or the parents just think lowly of their sons good decision making skills.Either way, the girl is just an excuse for how poorly they see their child. I'm so glad a lot of healthy couples rise up and out from this.

It’s so heartbreaking. Got me crying listen to this song cause it bring back memories of a very heart breaking experience that happened to me. His parents didn’t approve our marriage and we both decided to break up. It took 6 years for me to finally moved on. As for him he cut tie with his family. 😢
