If you have been following me for a while, you might understand how amazing this is for me - to have a set based around some of my designs is a real milestone! And to have Multipick produce them; just wow! 😃 Not only that, the look absolutely FANTASTIC (even if I do say so myself); and do they work? Yes! I love them 😍😍😍

Congrats brother, well done! Any chance you're going to give away a set? I'd love a Lock Noob set that came from Lock Noob himself, that would be great! If not, could I just buy a set from you?

I just got mine today. They are beautiful. I have been using homemade picks so I had no idea how small they were. One lock that's was having trouble with, using my giant picks, I opened with every one of these things. I love them.

I've deliberately stayed clear of raking since I feel that as a dismal amateur, I'm likely to learn more by single pin picking than with a blunt attack method. Rapid entry techniques don't achieve that for me. However, what interests me about this is the versatility and ability to use a rake as a diamond or hook. All my bogotas and worms seem to be of uniform height across the attack surface, so I'd have to switch picks if I were using my current kits. I'd definitely consider this set if I did decide to pursue raking in the future because I'm trying to develop greater finesse and accuracy.

I have done a lot of tools for myself. Actually I started to play with locks from my very young age. Anyway, I have to admit you are very good designer. I recognized one if your tools was very similar! to snake rake but yours was more "sharp". And others... OMG, I ordered them before I watchet that clip until the end. Thank you!!!

@@LockNoob My set arrived this morning, and here are my first impressions. Bear in mind that I already had the Abona and Monith versions, so had developed a bit of a feel for those beforehand. With all of them, especially the new ones with the bigger "nose" piece, I found a couple of pointers that may help some other folks. First thing is (and so far I've used them only on 4 locks - 3 Master locks and a Euro) BE GENTLE. These aren't rakes that require vigorous actions. Gently does it. Second - not only gently, but SLOWLY does it. I found that raking in and out rapidly didn't really work well at all - presumably because the advantage of the high-low peaks was negated by the rapid raking pushing the highs past the pins. But slow it right down, so that the height variations have time to work, and I got all 4 locks open in seconds. Thirdly - tension on the turning tool needs to be almost zero - just enough to stop the turning tool from falling out. You'll still feel the open without any ambiguity. But if you apply too much torsion, then you won't get that bouncing pin effect that makes these work so spectacularly well. Don't know if you agree with these thoughts, but that's just what came to mind as I was trying my brand new set on 4 locks.

I am new to sport picking and have been enjoying your videos. I am a huge fan of your Sparrows collaborations. The Monkey Paw and Medusa are my goto picks. I am still working to successfully pick a full set of your chess security pins. I have had my eye on the Multipick brand but wasn't sure I should justify the price. I think this rake set has pushed me over the edge. Not sure if I can wait for them to be available from a U.S. site, I may have to buck up and pay those extra shipping fees.

@@LockNoob I took the leap late last night and bought the set. I added a practice lock to get a different experience for what I have been working with, I am excited to see how these feel and perform. Now that I have started paying closer attention to the biting on every key I own and see in the wild I am surprised that picks like these aren't more standard. I think it is very cool that you are able to work with these companies as you are doing. Keep up the great work!

Beautiful! Of course it's subjective, but I would supplement the set with a City rake, for those locks which cannot accommodate a Bogotá-derived rake. Thanks Ash. 🙂👍
