This was so cool. I had no idea scrap mechanic could simulate a engine and transmission using pipes and pistons. I have watched a few videos before, but nothing showcased the potential of SM like this one. Also, your pistons should of been at 90 degree angles.

Kan do a random lift challenge where you close your eyes and pick a random vehicle from your lift the if you don't get a vehicle choose again also the vehicle must have three wheels minimum and can't use thrusters for forward thrust only thrusters if it is a flying vehicle. The vehicle must be a reasonable size so um not like your blimp

Thanks, this project gives me an idea. Build simple diferencial (functional), with motor from 4 piston on crankshaft (not boxer like you, but regular V4) and real chassis, with real car stearing (piston simulation steering rods), to simulate real car driving :D

A 2 piston engine would not be viable, there's stages where it could get stuck, a 3 piston is a way better approach

Offset pistons by 33° on shaft And use 3 pistons. Cycle which piston is pushed 1,3,2.
