Can confirm, chickens do eat eggs Mom had some a few years back and they would eat their own eggs if you left them in the nest too long

Iirc it takes a lot of calcium/vitamins/energy to lay eggs for chickens. I suppose at a certain point, they’d eat their eggs to replenish their vitamins to prep for a new batch 😅. I’ve seen people feed their chickens egg shells for this purpose too

Pals have their own set of skills. Gummoss has Plant, which is used for planting crops, but not Handiwork, which is used for building and crafting. Edit: Guess I misunderstood the confusion. Gummoss does have the passive "Logging Assistant", which you can check the description of in the paldeck: Improves _your_ logging when in your party.

Renaming PALs is not a bug. The Game Pass version is 1.0.0, the Steam version is 1.2.0. Renaming PALs was not available in 1.0.0, the dev is waiting on Microsoft to cert the new version for Game Pass.

I've been really into this game the past couple days and I'm excited to watch you guys play it. I absolutely loved y'alls Ark series and all the shenanigans. I haven't finished the video, but just a tip: you might not wanna spend a lot of time building a house with just wood materials. Fire spread is ridiculously fast, and you could have a huge base burned down in literally 5 seconds. Other players have posted the same issue on the subreddit, and right now, there doesn't seem to be a way to stop it (the water Pals aren't fast enough.) I've been having fun with the game, but this is the one thing that's been a huge bummer for me.

Fun Fact: One of the very early mechanics for Pokemon did include the player also having the ability to attack the Pokemon, but they took it out cause they thought "Why do I need a Pokemon if I can be in combat myself".

Ok, as someone who was born and lives in Brazil, i have to say, hearing "Pal" here isn't even close as to what it means there, I know that to you guys, it means "friend" or something like that, but here...well, it is pretty close to the word that we use to say Di**, so hearing something like "smell of Pal" here is definitively weird, if you get what i mean, like, this game ALREADY became a meme here, especially this sentence from the first NPC that you meet, just a little fun-fact from Brazil and how our language really doesn't work with some English words 😂😂

I agree that, sometimes, these differences can be really funny, and with this one, it reached a point where there is not a single Brazilian KZbinr or Streamer that has made an video or a stream about this game and didn't make a joke about it, and this actually helps the game a lot here, because it end up giving a lot of visibility to this game, and more and more people start to play it. And what can i say? This game already became one of my favorite games of all time, and as y'all said, this game is pretty much what every Pokemon fan has always wished for.

i think only on the steam version can names be changed. I kept trying to figure it out through the gamepass part but everything I could find said it was a Steam only option.

list of stuff to say 1. rename in the party menu(idk if its steam only right now) 2. each pals are job specific press f on a pal in the box and look at bottom right 3.chests in the blue base radius will allows you to auto pull resource to build /craft with 4. build a ranch and assign pal for wool/eggs (catch and put a vixy in a ranch for easy 1st tier pal balls) 5. to assign pal to a job pick them up and throw them at it (this will make them only do that job) to reveres throw them on the ground 6. for mining ore you need a lvl2 or higher miner

Each pal got specialty which u can find in their status. Like price pal can only farm

You may already know some of this, You can name them by going to Party in your Tab menu, and clicking into that pal. Up at the top is the name, it should have an edit button. Not every pal can do every job. When you look at them, they will have different little icons. Leaves are for planting, water is watering crops, the hand symbol is for crafting etc. you can hover over the symbols to see what they do. The passive skills differ pal to pal. Logging assistant and logging foreman are examples. Make sure you hover over these and read them, because sometimes the only apply to player harvests The more you upgrade the base, the more pals you can have working on the base. To get the egg Hatcher, you have to defeat the first tower boss. Also, flamethrower fox is an amazing thing and I can't wait for Ash to try it

Just a heads up on us trying to name our Pals. We were livestreaming while playing this, and we had a lot of viewers telling us where to rename our Pals, but the button to rename wasn't there for us. Viewers told us it was likely a bug. But yeah, for the episodes that you'll see this week, you'll hear us say "I wish we could name our Pals" a lot, because annoyingly we couldn't. -Ash

Would like to point out as someone who has played this off game pass and steam that the xbox version seems to be an earlier version and some features aren't the same. Naming, unfortunely is not on the game pass for some reason. Overall the xbox/ game pass pc version seem to have a bit more bugs than steam but they are working on getting everything synced up asap.

I don’t want to sound like a now it all but certain pals can only mine or chop trees but there are pals later on that can do multiple things and there are numbers in there personal windows that have numbers on symbols that show how efficient they are at what they do higher the number the better they also have personalities that define if they are attack or base building pals this game is more like catch animals and enslave them to make your life easier the more you level up the Paul box the more Pokémon you can set around the blue circle that’s around the box. Just let you know. Love your videos

I think we were prevented from naming the pals because of a bug. The game pass Palworld isn't as up to date on hotfixes as the steam version. We didn't have the option to rename any pal for the entire session.

I'm not sure how good it would be to give continuous support to this game, most of the assest and designs are blatantly stolen, and the devs' other games are not that different, they even got a game that's all about AI "art"

I looked very briefly, but all the articles I found say use of AI "accusations" with no definite proof. I saw on reddit them mentioning that in the credits, 11 people were on character/concept artists. There could be other post that I have not seen. Do you have any sources with definite proof?

while the claims of Ai art and reuesd models are still up in the air, its understandable to be a little cautious. however, this isn't a pokemon clone. if anything, its an ark clone that plays better and is more stable than Ark.

I have not heard about the death threats :( That sucks. There is never a reason to threaten someone's life over a game. It's so easy to just not play it. Being a game dev is hard work and no one deserves to have their and their families safety comprimised! (Aenne)
