It was funny watching the people here in the South try to drive through that sludge on the highway because a lot of them they're not used to driving on surfaces like that and it was hilarious because a lot of them just you know ended up in the ditch or beside the road because of the black ice on the road you know it looks like a river

My partner said something similar. He said it's amazing to see people are seeing snow for the first time now. He thought it was pretty cool. He asked if I remember the first time I saw snow. Heck yea. I remember it pretty clearly. I was like 6yrs old. Because I'm from Florida , so every time I saw snow on vacation, it was a huge deal, and the memories stuck with me. Even three 3yrs into living in the desert, and I still remember each of the snowfall we've had here. Because we didn't grow up living with snow in SoFla.

@brigittebeltran6701 there are certain mineral deposits in water, and sometimes snow. Traces of aluminum,to copper.sometimes iron ore dust. Think about it. The smoke stacks in some plants poof out tons of smoke way into the atmosphere. So yeah ,needless to say perhaps the smoke itself has some traces of metal in it . Therefore getting trapped in the atmosphere and during rain it comes back down. But in snow it freezes inside the micro flakes

@sandrawynkoop9549 I drive everyday on i90 down to Chicago and back for work driving semi trucks, yes the driver is partially at fault. But the dot doesn't even attempt to plow the roads, pre treat them, or even have plows out regularly when snowing and it causes many crashes especially since the road will appear better than it is. I saw 21 accidents that day, all of them were on the Wisconsin side of the boarder. On the Illinois side you have pre treatment, constant plow teams out ensuring the road is as safe as it can be to drive on, in Wisconsin I saw 2 plows between Madison and the boarder. So yes it's mainly the DoTs fault
