Multiple Github Accounts on One Computer with SSH

If anyone cannot run command, then paste this in bash: eval `ssh-agent -s` and run add command again. Wit eval `ssh-agent -s` command, we start ssh agent, then we can use add command.

Good eye! It was something I didn't notice until afterwards, but I think it's something to do with the git config --global settings. I'll have to update the video but hopefully that helps.

I'll try to implement this using Azure switching accounts. Nice video! How about if you go to another repository and make changes to push it often? Is it confusing which repository to use or push through?

I forget if I covered this in the video, but you're supposed to set each repo to the user you'd like to use, like this: git config user.name "John C" git config user.email "[e-mail]" Not sure if that answers your question.

Great video, you made it simple. However for whatever reason it doesnt work for me. I had to just resort to doing it via Https and using logins cause no matter what, it constantly is saying the previous user I pushed with does not have access to the second user even though I did everything you said to the T.

Sounds like there's some permissions issues you're dealing with. Sorry my tutorial didn't account for this kind of situation. Hoping to get to a Git series soon so I'll try to look into permissions a bit more and cover it in a video. Hope you get it fixed!

Ok. I solved my mac m1 now. Please try to generate your private and public key by using or Then, paste into your github account. Also, try to clear your ssh-agent "$ ssh-add -D" Then, add your new generated one. "$ ssh-add ~/.ssh/" Thanks.
