Thanks Tooth Envy! I have an interview in Deakin next Tuesday and I've been preparing using Melbourne and Monash interview questions. Thanks a lot for the tips and thank you for giving me at least a little bit of a hint of what to expect!

@ToothEnvy I am not sure what it entails. There is only one sample question on the school website. Just like with your program were didn't get much of a heads up on what to expect. I went over some practice questions that I found on the internet - I think you really helped with informing us about the process of it all - which is really good. I don't think there is really a way you can prepare though. You have to be yourself and be genuine. Also being overly nervous definitely will not serve you

thankyou! great advice! :) one question though: how did the interviewers respond when you told them you didn't the answer to their question?

Hi!! I really hope you can answer this question soon :) I have my pharmacy school interview (MMI) next week and I'm starting to get REALLY nervous!! I'm scared that I'll get too nervous to the point where I "blank out" and can't think of anything to say... Did this ever happen to you? Do you have any suggestions to avoid interview anxiety? Thank you!! I love your vidoes btw :)
@earthworldserver13 жыл бұрын
@ToothEnvy So I think the interview went well. Your tips were actually realllly helpful and I wouldn't be able to add anything else to what you suggested. Most important is to be yourself and try not to tell them what they want to here. They will know whether you are genuine or not. Thank you again. :)

hey guys i went through MMI's too (In Canada). I want to give u guys some advice based on my experience 1) In the 2 mins reading time Understand the Question, come up with points, If its the ethical issue come up with points for both sides of issue 2) When You enter the room Say Hi or hello, if you don't understand the Q ask for clarification 3) Stay on topic never talk about things like the weather 4) Talk for 3-4 mins then wait for prompts by interviewee. If u hve other Q's feel free to msg

In the role playing scenarios, would you still go shake the interviewers/observers hand and introduce yourself?

@bblaynee HAHA I'm doing the MMI at Michener for the chiropody program! Mine's on Saturday though.... I was on KZbin searching for any tips or advice and the videos are very sparse. @ToothEnvy This is one of the very few videos that actually mentions anything about the MMI. Most are joke/parody videos that don't tell you anything... So thank you! bblaynee, let us know how it goes and any tips after having gone through it.

it seems like the interview is to test how well you know yourself. you dont experience a lot of these situations throughout the course of your life so these hypothetical situations really show your colours

Sample Questions are not the real Qs on the interview. You should have used the sample Qs from other universities for your interview. Sample Qs just give you format.

Haha neva minds.....1 comment cant help me much anyways.I gave my interview on tuesday ,results r next week. What i expierenced is that the questions to be asked in The interview depends on the Uni itself.....i mean 1 has to check 'their' website to makeout an idea of questions to be expected.....anyways this guy was helpful too in giving the general idea of the interview

I applied for medicine in Austria at a private Uni-Sigmund Freud.The interview could be given in german as well as in english.The interview was kinda a pretty basic 1...like y u wanna study medicine /y u wanba be cardiologist/State ur bad qualities & how would tackle them.....& ofcorse what would you do when bla bla bla.... I didnt smiled at all in my interview.....was just acting serious & it maybe kinda looked like i was trying too hard to explain them with my hand motions.....i realised this lateron....i dont know if that was good or bad....i think that moving my hands a little bit while explaining something is sort of unprofessionalism....**** i didnt practiced & talked to myself in the mirror....anyways its over now...& well thats it

@lbeesntdeirx I think the interview went well. Honestly if you review the tips in this video and read the comments we made, then you will be as prepared as you can be for your session!

Lol, sorry but i learned more about how Aussies speak through this video rather than new info about MMIs. I DID start to pay attention at 4:40 though because that's when you actually start getting into what some scenarios are like.
