There is absolutely nothing about conventions one needs to be scared of. They are great fun! You get to meet many many many many many many many many many strangers who want to have just as great a time as you do :) And best of all, you'll make new friends along the way!

Normally I would encourage folks to get the civilian, no-pressure, walking-around con experience before diving right in to having a booth and being a somebody, but I support whatever you choose to do. Just do your best to hydrate and take plenty of breaks. Better to be lightly successful and healthy than to go for broke and stress out ❤

Thanks for reminding me to buy a Dokomi ticket... (living in Düsseldorf, going there is kinda a no-brainer) I also went last year already, it's nice, but also very commercialized. Am not really used to that, coming from furry cons. Besides that, it's going to be packed in my flat ... again, because everyone asks me if I can host them during dokomi...
