'Vedic Mathematics' is the name given to the ancient system of mathematics. The system is based on 16 Vedic sutras or aphorisms, which are actually word-formulae describing natural ways of solving a whole range of mathematical problems. It is a unique technique of calculations based on simple rules and principles, with which any mathematical problem - be it arithmetic, algebra, geometry or trigonometry - can be solved.

@@NehaSharma-ik8ws there are lots of techniques to use for maths . we can multiply any digit number from another one in seconds but also there are some perfect techniques for square roots and divisions too(that square root technique is my favourite) . But the point is vedic math is all about with the numbers(I think so) .It helps me with my exams but when your exam doesn't focus on much about solving some numbers like when you can use a calculator or something i think those techniques are not much important.That's it.

In doubling numbers, why confuse with group one and group two. Simply you can explain, if the next number on right hand side is five or more than five add one to the previous number. I feel it is easier to understand. By practice, doubling becomes very easy. I lie your method of teaching.
