Is it me, or do other people love how KSHMR talk about his process and mindset when doing certain things? The way he explains things clearly shows how everything is done for a reason, regardless of how minor it is. He would make a great music production professor.

double ditto. every tutorial I've seen of his, I've learned a lot. he goes deep, but it all makes complete sense. several of the "Lessons of KSHMR" I must have watched 5-10 times each because they are so awesome. Every time I come back, I learn more because I understand more than the last time I watched it. On top of his teaching style, I think he has that brilliant combo of high-level technical competence tied to creative expression. there are a handful of others that hit that combo, but it's rare.

Love seeing niles in his element. Down to earth and interesting guy. I like how he sneaks in orchestral elements in his tracks. That part about sometimes having to just manually tweak everything in the drum buildup is too real hahah, there’s not always an elegant solution. Great episode thanks everyone, hope we can see him again sometime :) PS if you’re reading this kshmr, Vol 3 is amazing and I could tell a shit ton of work went into that, big props

Like its missing lots of information.Sounds like: Piano, Guitar, Synth. If I use any effect on that particular sound like Reverb or Delay, It sounds horrible. I tried lots of things, like panning or EQing but it does n`t work . Please Help me

Hey man, I have a question about releasing songs, and would appreciate if you could help me out! :) So I produced an instrumental track, and got with a friend to write some lyrics. I came up with 50% Of the lyrics and all of the melodies and rythms of it, while he came up with the remaining 50% of the lyrics and sings the song. When releasing the single by a label, how would the royalities be split(would they?)/who owns the track/would he be featured or as a main artist of the song?
@nickkurfirst50535 жыл бұрын
could you please ask these producers if they use the same chord progressions throughout the whole song? like for different instruments ? and if their bass just follows the chord bass note? or is that just a thing beginners do
@stellen9965 жыл бұрын
I actually wanted to know that too.
@sa9037-x5h5 жыл бұрын
You're just worrying too much about it, having 8 bar loop of chord progressions for a single song is more than enough, if you use multiple chord progressions you'll lose the feel of the song very quickly, especially in electronic music where songs are very short.

Hey guys I have a question. Why does Kshmr means when he says he had to prepare the listen to a kind of shuffle thing? Or put simply what a shuffle means?! Sorry it may be simple but it would actually help a lot. Thanks :-)
@rubik35115 жыл бұрын
Light Music is groove and melody. If separate parts of a song have totally different groove then the flow gets disrupted (unless this is the goal, of course) which can ruin the perceived "pleasure" while listening to the track. Therefore, introducing small elements with the same groove as the next parts helps the brain "get prepared". I hope that helps
