I have a question..actually a few questions. Why, in the first AB multiplication, do we add the 3 elements together? I understand this results in the desired 1x1 matrix, but why do we need a 1x1 when we just created a perfectly good looking 1x3? Furthermore, if we are willy-nilly adding a row together why do we not add the rows of the resulting BA 3x3 matrix to get a 3x1? Just because someone invented a new math and made some arbitrary rules?
