In multi processing multiple CPU'S are present in single computer system, which can execute multiple processes at a same time. Whereas in multitasking single CPU executes multiple processes, by switching between them very quickly. It executes each process for a certain amount of time, which is called time quantum. You can consider same example, where one processor will handle your music program, and another processor will handle coding program.
