Lol, I must say, the niece must be my favorite character and the evolution I liked most to follow She started as lazy, self-entitled, spoiled kid who wanted to keep doing nothing of her days, and expected people to make everything easier for her as people always did But I like how she grew up by realizing how was the real world out there and that people who weren't spoiling her weren't necessarily people who had bad intentions to her I especially like how she was firm, resolute and mature in her feelings towards her professor. She didn't try to force him, she talked to him, was patient enough and gave the time and space he needed to realize her worth and that she wasn't just having a whim about him but was really admirant of him

Though I'm really suffered during this hurt period between Shuyi and Shiyan, I have to admit that the scene from the tree to his car is totally one of my fav scenes. Such bitter-sweet scene. I love every minute every second about this continuation! Especially, Bailu portrays it so well, making me giggle along with her adorable behavior demanding Shiyan to coax her then suddenly making me feel so sympathetic so soft-hearted with her drunken sob in the car like all I ever want is for her to be protected from all the pain in the world. Seriously looking forward to their reconcilement 💖
