Apart from the superb acting & production, it has been really interesting to see a possible alternative portrayal of Wu Zetian than that left to us by "hostile" historians. I understand that modern archaeologists are beginning to question whether she was as bloodthirsty as history describes, but can only make inferences from artifacts. Drama allows the imagination to "put the flesh on the skeleton of facts". As always the Chinese script writers are outstanding in developing characters as the story progresses. Thank you so much.

3 new episodes uploaded claiming to have English subs, all 3 devoid of them. In most cases using the auto translate doesn't work at all, or if it does, only sporadically. An otherwise good series has been marred by frankly shite quality English subs throughout, clearly using auto-translate vs actual subbing teams. The translations are frankly pretty awful. Now, we have no subs while being told that we *do* have subs. Get this whole hot mess sorted. It should not be acceptable to upload shoddy subs.
