Yep. I won't even look at something if it isn't at LEAST 30% off during Black Friday / Cyber Monday. 30% off the price it was two months ago, that is. Not after they have inflated it before issuing the coupon.

For the P2 and P4. I get a suspicion that leatherman is discontinuing them. But this is only speculation. 1. 30% off is rare for leatherman. 2. P2 and P4 are out of stock on leatherman's website. 3. Listing of P2 and P4 is somewhat hidden on leatherman's website. 3. Similar list of events happened to the squirt before that got pulled. Btw the Obsidian is back in stock.

The Leatherman Arc is all you need for practical use. Collecting is still fun, but the Arc, while TOO EXPENSIVE, is really just that good. IMO.

I actually had the Leatherman Arc and ended up selling it and ended up getting the charge+ TTI and am much happier. But that's just me. Leatherman is really dropping the ball lately. They don't care about users anymore. Just collectors by simply coming out with different colors of existing tools and the Arc obsidian is a slap in the face with a $45 price hike because it's black. Sorry random rant Leatherman is just pissing me off lately 😅

Wish the multper had a pocket clip. Ever since my first pocket clipped multi-tool (Wingman) I have to have a pocket clip. I do love my Rocktol Gen-R for that reason.

I just received the Multper today, thanks to your mention here. Very eager to hear your impressions, and hoping you'll have suggestions for mods/upgrades. Mostly I'd just be interested in what i might need to do to install a Leatherman belt clip (i think I need to remove one of the pivots and remove a spacer to make room for the clip?), and also, what suggestions you have for the t-shank adapter. I'd like a good file set, but I'm not sure how to tell if this one is good or not. An Amazon comment suggested it's on the soft/fragile side. Only QC issue I've noticed is some burring on the serrated blade and hook, and a tiny bit of burring internally. Also wish the primary knife was shaving-sharp, but that's rarely the case from any factory knife. Thanks, as always!!

This thing is an absolute monster, lol. I'm still considering Roxon's build-your-own tool for something smaller and more ergonomic. I'm honestly not sure how much I want to carry the Multper around - will see how it feels at work this coming week.

I was a die-hard Leatherman fan for decades. Because I have always carried them in belt pouches rather than pockets, I was never interested in pocket clips or smaller models. I only learned of the Surge clones recently, and have the Roctol, the Bibury, and now the Multper. Because of the standardized hex bit holder I feel they are better than the Surge. Sadly, all three clones seem to suffer from a small design flaw, which is that the retaining clip that holds the t-handle blades often catches on the inside of the belt pouch when I pull it out. I'm now using an effective punk-rock solution, which is to put a piece of tape over the protruding metal so it no longer catches. Yes, the Multper Damascus blade is great!
