The Fwoosh hasbro achieved it with ares that darkness with the glowing eyes. It works. This bad girl looks like Patrick Ewing and Chyna had a baby. A typical swing and miss by Multiverse.

Wonder Girl and Dr. Psycho are a definite must have for my DC collection. It's a shame that Mattel couldn't up their game and made some improvements to their DC Multiverse line. It had a lot of promise of becoming a very successful figure line like Hasbro's Marvel Legends.

Not into these two unfortunately, but that little Doctor Psycho looks fun. I've been getting the Rookie wave, all on the cheap as they've dropped on Amazon and have Atom to complete the wave coming tomorrow. They've been rather decent except for gummy plastic. Definitely looking forward to the Clayface wave and new packaging design. As a former DC employee, I'm always rooting for anything DC, so hoping this line improves.

If Mattel would only tweak a couple of things they could get back in the race. Instead they keep falling short. I WANT good DC figures, I really do, but there seems to be some curse going on, heh. DCC cancels Icons right as it starts getting steam.

She's based on the Miller art style, which works for me for some reason. I forgot to mention it in the review but her eyes don't look cross-eyed in person, it's the nose guard thing that makes it look that way in pics.

hi Robo, this is the first time i have seen a Wonder woman with a lacklustre and kind of flat buttside and body sculpt wise..and the Wonder Girl legs seems a bit odd..Mattel have a lot of catching up to do with Hasbro for feminine sculpt, and my main gripes these retails for almost 50 bucks where i live.. great detailed reviews by the way.

Thanks man. Yeah, I feel like they are stepping backwards in some areas. Granted, Hasbro took a bit before getting good bodies out there, but they continued to at least try. Mattel seems to be just piecing together stuff that they've had for years and years.

It may as well be a statue but I really love the Frank Miller looks for all the old version of the Justice League. I guess I'll get her and that upcoming Flash figure. I wish DC Collectables would do versions of those characters.

Great review. I bought both of them; they'll be in my mailbox when I get back home after the holidays. I only bought both of them because walmart.com had a seller selling them both for $40. I like how you phrased them as yearbook figures. WW will look great with my DK and MOTUC figures. Wonder Girl almost looks too cartoony. The articulation doesn't really bother me; I don''t pose and photograph. That Dr. Psycho is really the only disappointment for me.

the multiverse line just kills me. The articulation is baffling. But they are sculpted have decent. I like the kinda blocky look on WW and the height works for me. I might have to pick her up and look back for the DKR flash from Walgreens. I really wish they'd put the same level of articulation and care as their WWE figures. I want some cool DC figures but the offerings are just lacking. The new blue line looks like they're making some minor improvements. But Mattel is still in the area of when Hasbro first did ML.

Mattel is really behind the times with their 6-inch scale figures. They're utilizing the same bodies from a decade ago (when DC Super Heroes became DC Universe Classics). Hasbro blows them out of the water, especially with their female figures. It would never happen but I would LOVE for Hasbro to get the DC license at some point and make some excellent new DC figures. If the rumors are true the Hasbro and Mattel might merge, I wonder what this means for both the DC and Marvel licenses?

Great Video Brother!!! I used to collect and enjoy the old DCUC figures but I refuse to buy this modern garbage. For me the pinnacle was and still is my ultra rare naked cheetah figure. Its basically the modern cheetah that they released without the clothes. When she first came out she was naked just covered with fur for a feral look. Then certain people saw it and said it was pornographic especially the boobs. So the production was stopped and the few that made it out were recalled. The mold was then given the black pants and tank top that became the retail release. However a small amount of,the,naked ones survived and I was lucky enough to snag one. To me that's DCUC at its finest...

Yarlick I exclusively collect Multiverse figures and I personally really like these figures. I know the articulation isn't the best, but I enjoy my Multiverse collection. But I totally understand that not everyone is going to like them.

In Secret Six Catman has different costumes for different missions or weather. Stealth suit and snow were easy customs.

Mattel does a great job with dark knight returns figures and their cnc/bafs. This is a great sculpt for a dark knight 2 Wonder Woman figure. Anyone confused about the look, it's frank millers art, don't get mad at Mattel for this not looking like a classic ww. She's meant to be all he-man'ish. Their dkr superman is one of the best 6 inch superman figures of all time. I'm not going to cry about articulation I don't need.its a dk2 ww figure not spiderman. I don't really care about that teen titans figure but at least it doesn't have the dcuc crazy t crotch

The Fwoosh yeah McFarlane was revolutionary in 1992 but he never advanced since then...honestly it's upsetting because he gets cool licenses like walking dead and stranger things. That's awesome, i missed out on this line. It came out when i was done collecting for the second time. But know i'm slowly picking them up, But i dont think i will ever get my hands on her. The head sculpt for Giganta is amazing. But i have a video coming up for king Shark wave, And if you think these are a step back.....the figures in this wave all have different arm articulation, half only have elbow no bicep. Thanks man. And yeah, DCUC hit right in a sweet spot when Marvel Legends were tapering off and I was getting into DC comics, so I went all in with them. Then oddly enough DCUC tapered off as Legends started getting good again. Weird how that works out. I think I wanna get the King Shark but I don't want any of the figures in the wave. Can't win, haha.

Man these are ugly... why does mattel even try to appeal to adult audiences when they do things like put copywrite engraving on their figures or ruin their packaging with poorly placed safety logos. All of these decisions are no doubt the ideas of some old stingy executive and a team of lawyers trying to "protect a trademark".
