If they ask you to wake them up, isn’t this giving permission? It means they don’t mind lol. And wouldn’t obeying your parents in waking them up for the fard salah when it’s difficult for them take precedence over not entering before knocking? And particularly after they explicitly request you to. This doesn’t make sense.

Waking them up doesn't need to get inside their room, just knock the door loudly till they respond. Are we not allowed to knock the door loudly?

@@Little-sv5ql You knock on the door first UNTIL you have permission. This means that it’s the permission that’s necessary before you enter-and so if she has permission to enter, then it’s not haram.

The mother already gave her daughter permission by telling her to wake her up for fajr prayer. I am guessing that the mother is an old(er) lady. I don't think her parents are dressed naked in the early morning or being intimate, if not ever. So if the mother asks her daughter to wake her up there is no need to ask for permission because she already is granted entry.

@@Little-sv5ql and it is also Allah that tells the children that they can enter the room when they are granted permission.

@@Little-sv5ql I understand. My question is does this only apply for parents? Did the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or sahaba r.a wake people up for prayer?

I follow your logic, also makes sense. But as the guy commented on your comment, if Allah Subhan Wa' Ta'laa has forbidden something then its forbidden. My question is does this only apply for parents? Did the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or sahaba r.a wake people up for prayer? Sons, daughters, wives?
