Hey Guys, I hope you enjoy this gaming episode :) The next OSFirstTimer video will introduce a new 8 episode mini series where Diana and I react to an OSFirstTimer related podcast made about us by real humans. The video following that will have Diana try a linux distro that is currently celebrating it's 20th anniversary. As it uses a slightly modified gnome GUI, Diana will compare it to the vanilla gnome desktop environment she encountered in EndeavourOS.

I still think it's the best Mario multiplayer platformer game to this day. Super Mario Wonder felt like a slight step back being 2D. Anyway, I'm glad you like the episode :)

I managed to score a Wii U at the beginning of the year and a copy of this game recently. I've gotten back into this game and really have enjoyed it.

Fair gameplay and 3D World is a good 2D-3D type easy to get used to title. The mic blowing parts I don't know if necessary/worse or better then on DS games that used it. The dual video of Mario vs Donkey Kong or the screen flipping of Mario Bros DS or the lid closing of Zelda Phantom Hourglass to me was always impressive. Splatoon I think is a good next title to get used to the improved gyro aiming (that or Pikmin 3 also as a strategy game the regular controls the stick use always seemed weird to me why they did it but on Wii is so good like a computer mouse in a way) Splatoon's aiming is so good like BOTW is later for demonstrating that especially besides how Wii Sports, Metroid Prime, point and click/hidden object games or even Red Steel 2 demonstrate good use of the Wiimote and Wii Motion Plus. Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii and X on Wii U to then BOTW really showed how to do world gen on old hardware it's amazing besides the fair gameplay/story of course. Mario titles are fair as gateway titles for people but I do find them over used sometimes as 'insert mainstream game to get people to play' besides other games that are good examples of mechanics, hardware and more but of well as a collector that collects niche games you do get sick of seeing it but know it all too well. The Dualshock 4 in the thumbnail really gets to me though. Not a Wii U Pro Controller or Wii U Gamepad or a Switch Joycon/Pro Controller, but Dualshock 4? Emu via CEMU or the Switch ones that went down huh? Hmmmmmm. I'm not against emu but I mean..... not hard to get the game and those systems either.

My most favourite modern 3D Mario game of all time! This game is amazing, isn't it? I'd recommend Super Mario 64 next time.

This is my favourite modern 3D Mario game too! I generally found Nintendo games less interesting as I reached the age of 10+ however, after being a foster carer and seeing the effects of children being exposed to violent movies at the biological families house etc, I've grown to love Nintendo games for providing innocent fun for kids rather than promoting violence.

i managed to get all the stamps start and top of the flag poles, to unlock a world so difficult i can't beat it xD, 7:23 and there is a trick in that place where you can jump on a shell until you get 1000 lives xD

Its possible on a real WiiU but only if it Runs cfw (custom Firmware) I say that because I Played Mario Kart 8 on my WiiU with a ps4 Controller at some time
