I suggest you play and let Mum try out Webfishing! Its a cool new indie game that is very popular, and while generally it's a multiplayer game, you can put Mum into an offline lobby so she can safely explore and play. Maybe you could set up a laptop, so you could join her in game in a private lobby or something. Perhaps, you could work something out for this.
