The speed is fast because of NHRCL because they have introduced multiple clauses for the number of equipment used simultaneously which is expensive but it constructs faster

People who are comparing Indian Bullet train project with Indonesia... Must Understand... In Indonesia Chinese workers and Chinese machines are doing the majority of work with Indonesian workers. **But in India L and T(an Indian company) is doing the construction.** Machines are also built and operated by Indian engineers. Only Chief engineer comes once a while from Japan to see progress and modifications. **So technically India is learning how to make bullet train project** **Just like we learned how to make world class Metro infrastructure** And also JAPAN'S bullet trains are safest and best in the world. "So asking for help again n again in future from Japan is not what India is thinking." That's why it is taking time. Bullet train will be fastest train hence it should be planned on longest route focus to be on y constructing of it in phases instead of connecting short and indl routes. Connecting of shourt routes should be planned in IInd priority integrated with main routes. Like main route to be planned eg Delhi to Bhopal, Bhopal to nagpur, nagpur to Hyderabad - Bengaluru to Chennai.

Bullet train is fastest train but not the fastest mode of transport. Aeroplanes are faster and cheaper than bullet train. But , On short distance, bullet train become faster than aeroplanes because check-in, check out takes more than 2 hrs on airport. Delhi Bhopal bullet train will be unsuccessful. Why would someone travel from Delhi to Bhopal by bullet train ? When they can travel the same distance faster and cheaper by aeroplane.
