Mumbai BMW Hit-and-Run Case: Victim's Family Calls for Death Penalty for Accused

The family of Kaveri Nakhwa, who was killed by a speeding BMW in Mumbai, demanded the death penalty for the accused on Tuesday. A Mumbai court placed Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah in 14-day judicial custody for the fatal hit-and-run case. His 24-year-old son, Mihir Shah, was allegedly driving the BMW that killed Kaveri Nakhwa and injured her husband Pradeep while they were on their two-wheeler in Worli on Sunday morning.
