The Mumbai Coastal Road is an under construction 8-lane, 29.2-km long freeway that would run along Mumbai's western coastline connecting Marine Lines in the south to Kandivali in the north.[1] The Coastal Road is projected to be used by 130,000 vehicles daily and is expected to reduce travel time between South Mumbai and the Western Suburbs from 2 hours to 40 minutes. The estimated cost of the project is ₹12,000 crore (US$1.7 billion). Its first phase, a 9.98 km section from Princess Street flyover to the Worli end of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, is expected to be completed by mid-2022

Hope they add a metro line to the south side of the project connecting it to the main line in bandra, since entire west side of south Mumbai lack any sort of modern transportation. Adding a metro line would significantly boost tourist transportation to areas like worli, mahalaxmi temple, Marine lines and various sports complex as well as stadiums located in south side.

India need to do more. These are same areas where India has already seen development since Independence. The most needed areas are North east states including Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura and Assam. These North East states will also give India an edge incase war with China breaks out!! From troops mobility to missile launcher transportation to supplies movement, India need to build overbridges, tunnels, high speed expressways, airstrips all over the North East! Build trailway tracks and connect them in future with Burma (Mymyar) and Bangladesh. East will give India Military advantage so India should focus on east as well!! From Debang National Park in Arunahcal Pradesh, Bejing is only 1385 miles!! India should build an airstrip connected with railway track and highway near Debang National Park Incase if India has to strike economic centers of China as a detterrence, Airstrips in Arunachal will do that job extremely cheaply. To strike Bejing, India will not have to use Agni if India builds airstrips, highways and rails in Arunachal and Norteastern states! regular 1500 Miles range missile will do the job of an ICBM. India should think in long term!!

This prj appears to be primarily for private cars. Having Bus lanes is quite hilariuos as it seems that the coastal road is anticipated to be clogged by cars. and bus stops on coastal roads appear horrific as passengers will need to catch a bus, share auto/taxi to reach bus stop on coastal road!!!
