Just a semi improvement in comfort on a semi speed train. The main thing are the tracks to support higher speeds and India does not have them yet. Otherwise this is an expensive fare for a long 9 hours trip for most of us.

MANGALA EXPRESS was my train to see my grandmother during the 90s when there was no konkan railway. It used to take 3 days to travel from Mangalore to Hazrat Nizamuddin via Kerala, Tamilnadu, Andhra, Maharashatra, Madhya pradesh, Uttar pradesh. I started train journey when sachin tendulkar started sharjah desert storm in semifinal and by the time i reached home sachin was lifting trophy after final :) And i kept asking for scores in every station and bought newspapers. Those were the days when nobody had a mobile phone. My grandma stayed in hardiwar and there was no direct train back then. How i wish we had Yogi rishikesh express which is a direct MANGALORE-HARIDWAR train

Yes, now you can travel in KCVL-YNRK Train, (Via MAJN, PNVL, NZM) which departs from Kochiveli(Thiruvananthapuram) and ends at Rishikesh

Yes my mother took that train last year. My uncle did not have come to nizamuddin to pick her up. It was a direct train to haridwar. Banglaore does not have this direct connectivity to haridwar-rishikesh-dehradun

मंगला एक्सप्रेस का पहला सफर शायद 1998 और 1999 में किया, जब मंगला एक्सप्रेस Konkan Region से चलना शुरू हुई थी, तब मेरे नानाजी मुझे दिल्ली से पनवेल ले गए थे। Journey time was approximately 24 hrs plus from Delhi. Will travel to Konkan Region in monsoon of 2024.

If you want to get down at North Goa and it's beaches like Calangute, Baga, Shapora, Anjuna, Morjim, U have to Get down at Thivim which is near to it.. And if u want to surf South Goa and it's beaches like Colva,Majorda, Varca, Cavelossim, Utorda, Benaulim, Casaunlim , Bogmalo , Doodhsagar and many beautiful Waterfalls and forest at South Goa u have to get down at Madgao. .. Konkan Vandebharat should add Chiplun station because in Chiplun most of Konkan trains get empty. And it is one of most important station in Konkan route. Train will run in full occupancy if Chiplun station is added. Especially in Festivals like Ganpati and Shimga(Holi). It will be a great idea to add it .

Best time to visit Ratnagiri is after monsoon, in September-October Places to visit near Ratnagiri- 1. Ganpatipule temple and beach-25 Km 2. Bhatye beach-2Km 3.Mandavi beach-2Km 4.Thibaw palace and Thibaw point- 2Km 5.Aare waare beach-15Km 6.Lokmanya tilak birth place- 2Km 7.Kasheli beach-40Km 8. I am from Chiplun.. Actually Chiplun is one of the busiest and crowded railway station on the Konkan Railway route.. Chiplun should be the official stop for the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express..

@@jonathanalvinrays..7070 bhai I think next 20 - 30 yrs tak double line ka proposal bhi nahi ayega cause bhai kafi costly padega and fundamentally kafi difficult hoga 2nd line place karna Cause All Tunnels and Bridges were designed only for a single track , so pura new bridges and tunnels construct karna padega jo almost more than 100 massive structures honge, so muzhe toh nahi lagta ki Government next 25 - 30yrs tak ye idea ko consider karegi

@@sarthaknatekar4715 Doubling can be easily done from Vaibhavwadi Road to Mangaluru since the terrain is majorly flat and very less tunnels are there. Suresh Prabhu when he was railway minister had sanctioned doubling of entire KR route but piyush goyal later cancelled it by saying that there isn't enough freight traffic hence doubling isn't profitable.

This route is so Beautiful, I travelled in this route when I was in my childhood days from Karmali Railway Station to Mumbai on Mandovi Express on ICF coaches. Mandovi Express is the best train to travel between Goa to Mumbai.

Tumhare konkan vlogs dekhke ye baat mujhe acchese pta thi k tumhari favorite Mandovi Express hi rahegi... Mandovi ka khana aur travel (Ratnagiri -Mumbai) experience accha hi rha hai mera bhi... Well and If you wish to travel and explore Ratnagiri toh October to Feb is best time and a great experience you will have.. Maine tumhare pichle mandovi k vlog pr bhi comment kari thi... Beaches (Mandovi, Bhatye, Kasheli, Aare -Ware, Ganpatipule, etc) Temples bhi (Ganpatipule, Pawas, Bhagwati Temple/Fort, Kankaditya- Sun Temple, etc ) National leaders k working places/houses... Jitna bolu utna kam hai bhai... Alphanso Mangoes (organically grown )toh kya batau... Kabhi tumse Ratnagiri platform pr milunga to jarur gift karunga.. All in all you will have a great experience here....2-3 days are sufficient.

This is simply because it is still UNDEVELOPED!!! No Doubt... Heaven on Earth... if you can really explore its interior village alongside Arabian Sea Shore ( Un-touched Beaches & Beautiful villages ) .. Thanks for showing my native place - CHIPLUN Railway Station... Bhai...Goa- Kokan belt mein travel kar rahe ho... Too kya Woo boring & quite common ... PANEER ( Vahi typical... EC or CC in Vande Bharat. provides passengers with more space and comfort and is perfect for people wanting more leg space during their journey. EC class washrooms are very hygienic and clean. Train supports semi high speed but due to the railway track speed capacity, operating speed of the services are limited to 160 km/h (99 mph). I think you should not compare Mandvi with this Bz tumhe letne nahi mil raha. Let a hi hi hai itni beautiful juourny me toh iski ticket nahi nikal ni thi. Ghar bhi hai letne. Kamiya Matt nikalo. better try ho raha hai then appreciate it. & Local train thodi na hai ke sir ko darwaje se bahar nikal ke dekhna hai. I hv allergic to dust pollution and for me like people this is perfect journey.

Satyabhai, travelling for 8-9 hours in Goa Vande Bharat is like a punishment.The fatigue looked on your face.Whereas you travel same or more hours in sleeper or AC class like Rajdhanis & Durantos seems to be more comfortable.

It's a very good initiative by Indian railways to introduce Vande Bharat train which also facilitates disabled passengers. But how do they board this train who are wheelchair bound? Also the platform heights are not uniform across India. World class trains should be complemented by equally good rail infrastructure.

There should be another vande Bharat express between mumbai and goa, keeping the originating and terminating stations different like mumbai Central in Mumbai and vasco in Goa the stops should be mumbai Central, borivali, Vasai Road where the vande Bharat reverses its rake and then halts a panvel followed by Chiplun, ratnagiri, kudal, thivim maybe , karmali, madgoan and finally vasco Please like who agree Thus will be beneficial for Western line traveller's of mumbai ❤

I am from Ratnagiri, Bro Monsoon sabse badhiya time hai Ratnagiri Explore karne ke liye, Aap Ratnagiri mein yaha yaha ghum sakte ho : Ganpatipule, Aare Waare Beach, Mandvi, Ratnadurg Fort, Thiba Palace, Bhatye Beach, Kasheli. Etc etc... aur bhi places hai! 😅😅
