Chtrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalay, Mumbai, is one of the best curated museums of India. Earlier it was known as the Prince of Wales Musuem.
It boasts of having the first Textile Gallery in any museum of India. The currency gallery is very interesting where you will find Rs. 15 note and Rs. 5000 note.
The Textile gallery will be particularly appealing to the Bengalis as it displays one #Baluchari Saree belonging to Gyanadanandini Devi, wife of Satyendranath Tagore, the fisrt Indian ICS and brother of Rabindranath Tagore.
Located near the Gateway of India, it is easily reachable from #CSMT and #Churchgate Stations.
