Humour is good. I love watching videos of AIB. But, Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar are not just people but legends. Of course, India is a democratic country and as citizens we have the Right to Speech. But these legends have worked hard to reach this level. They have earned their positions. Keeping all these points in mind, yes there should be a limit.

People have been mimicing Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar since ages now and all of that is entertaining and funny but if you make a 30 second video where you just abuse and insult them only to create a controversy out of it,it is not cool. And then you just show the 'im a comedian' card and try to be all casual about it, that isnt cool either. But i guess he got what he wanted because maybe a controversy was the sole purpose of the video.i have been watching being indian`s videos for quite some time now and i find them very funny and about the thing were Arnab Goswami talks about the drought problems in Maharashtra, i agree we are having water crisis here and alot of other problems going on but does that mean everything else which happens is not that important or something which we dont need to pay attention to.

The line of humor is simple: Its where the person doesn't feel insulted..!! Eg. Mimicking about someone famous. Its ok, if that person himself smiles when he sees or hears the joke. There are so many mimics on famous people, even on Sachin, like his voice and action(which is done even in this video, towards the end) but it somehow brings a smile(naturally) and even sachin wouldt feel "Insulted" about it.

There are few things I would like to say; 1) I supported AIB roast in the name of FOE/FOS because the actors were mocking at each other and were not taking any offence in that. These people were JUST Celebrities. On the other hand, Sachin and Lata are not celebrities. They are termed as the God of the cricket and Goddess of Indian Classical music respectively. We attach immense national pride with them and revered them. Including Amitabh Bachchan, A. R. Rahman, these two people are worshiped, not mocked and humiliated. 2) As it is said , power comes with great responsibility. If any random guy had posted this video, it would have not been of any concern, But Tanmay must have realized the responsibility that came with big youth followings on social media. 3) There are some videos where Sachin's and Lata's have been mimicked and Believe me I found them funny too. But merely asking Lata to die is purely insulting and not at all funny. 4) Sometimes just to be in the Light, one has to do something that one's conviction does not allow. Tanmay's Video might be an example of it.

As a comedian, you keep pushing the limits and don't know where to draw the line because just like udta Punjab etc. there should be no censorship in art. it can be moderated by labling it as a A or UA R rated art. Things like aib roast and tanmay's Snapchat videos were according to many many people not really funny but they still got views because of the people taking offence.

the thing is there are 2 types of people 1>are good with words ........2> are good with hands if you are going to target someone with words and think that you have not done some thing wrong. then think again because if that is true then targeting someone with your hands should be fine too. you are hurting someone psychologically and the other one is hurting you physically so in my opinion both of them are wrong as said by the great late uncle of Peter Parker :P that with greater power comes greater responsibility. you have got the power of words, use it for a good cause, think the impact it will have on the youth. keep up the good work

With any and all kinds of humor there is an invisible line. some people tend towards crossing it, if they are sensible enough they just stop short of actually crossing it. Then there are those people who just jump across the line. It's probably because they don't realize the potential for stirring up a hornet's nest or they end doing it caus they love to get stung. Good humor is about pushing the limits, not crossing them. In a country as diverse as India, I believe no one knows how close is close, when it comes to pushing the envelope.
