1 - How much range is available on a full charge if AC and music system is used?? 2 - Is there any periodic maintenance for EV's as is required for Fuel powered cars?? 3 - Battery warranty is 8 years. If I want to use the car beyond 8 years, how much will I have to pay for Battery replacement?? 4 - Which axle is powered to drive the car. Front or Rear?? 5 - If Front wheels are powered to drive the car why not generate energy by fixing dynamo to Rear wheels which can generate energy to Refill the Battery while the car is moving??
@motoroctane4 жыл бұрын
1 We were using AC across the trip and even music system. 2. No periodic maintenance 3. Battery is 5 years warranty. With passing time - 5-7 years batteries will be a lot cheaper than today. So it’s difficult to predict the pricing - but it should drop by 60-70% as EVs will be a common means of transport.

Nice road trip Rachit and congratulations on the award! Just one question, how many charging points are provided at the dealership? Also are the charging points open for customers 24/7
@theevfellow4 жыл бұрын
15:11 Since electricity comes from Coal/diesel? how is an electric car greener? Rachit's point was pretty valid, the electricity is slowly moving to greener energy, there is another argument in favor of Electric Cars. The size of an engine is small as it has to fit under the hood, the truth is that the efficiency of an ICE engine is only 25-30% which means only 30% of the fuel put into the tank converts to actual kms driven. However Electricity is generated in large turbines, with the heat energy harvested 2-3 times before being let out leading to efficiency of at least 95%. THUS EVEN IF AN ELECTRIC CAR THROUGHOUT ITS LIFE IS POWERED BY COAL/DIESEL IT IS CLEANER THAN THE CLEANEST ICE/HYBRID CAR.
@hiteshadhikari4 жыл бұрын

@rahulrai03914 жыл бұрын
The darker side of electric vehicles is not known yet. 60% of electricity generated is by burning coal. This stays intact till 2040. Let's say shifting to solar powered vehicles works. But the e-waste generated by solar panels is going to be a huge problem in next 15 years. Ev batteries are made of Lithium which is not abundant and in the process of extracting Lithium, water consumed and emissions are much more than normal oil extraction process. Plus, Lithium comes from mining and forest area has to be converted into mining area which affects the local green cover. Considering the lifetime emissions, Electric Vehicles don't cause any good to the environment.

Outstanding brother. yes electric is not future, electric is present. Ha thode bahut challanges aayenge but kuch achha pane ke liye thoda challange aajmane me kya harj hai. its a beautiful car not just by looks but overall. Jab jyada gadiya log electric pe chalana shuru karenge tab tab usme aur sudhar hoga or improvision bhi mil jayega. Par logo ko sabra rakhna hoga sab ikdum se nahi hoga.
