avoid NH-66 till ratnagiri even the route followed by Pushkaraj. It was worth the pain now. alternatively Mumbai-Pune-Karad-Malkapur-Anuskura(no traffic and scenic)-kharepatan-kankavali-Goa. It should cost you ₹630 in toll plus road is in topnotch condition. Karad-Anuskura is the highlight of enitre journey. completed journey on this road recently.

I am also planning to go goa next week, when i put the location in maps it shows me 576km from Mumbai -pune-kolhapur-goa route which would take approximately 11.30 hrs. When i put the location mentioned in the above comments it shows me 642 km that would take approximately 13.30 hrs. Is it extra 2 hrs and appx.60 km, is it really worth, i m confused please help me. Is it better then maps default route?

sangmeshwar se ek rasta hey jo sakharpa jakar direct rajapur bahar nikalta hey & the road condition also good. next time you must try that road.

To avoid Bad roads after Sangameshvar you need to take a left immediately after the Sangameshvar ST stand and go via Devrukh and reach Lanja.. after that you will get 4 way lanes..

1:17 From take exit to mahad their is bypass for kashedi ghat mahad-vinhere-natunagar-khed and you save 20-25 mins

@Pushkaraj poladpur ke Baad chadhaai nahi that is called famous Kashedi Ghat... They are building alternate road which will have one of the longest tunnel.. Aur after Sangmeshwar talab nahi re baba usko nadi (river) bolte hai..

Hi Brother First of all Thank you for supporting 🙂🙂❤️❤️ I would suggest below Route Mumbai Pune Satara Karad Anuskura Ghat Kankawli Kudal Goa Put Pachal Kolhapur Phata As Google location in Map while leaving from Mumbai Anuskura Ghat is Best Route in terms of Scenaries and Road Quality 🙂🙂❤️❤️ Just be Careful on Hairpin Bends in the Ghat Section 🙂🙂❤️❤️
