Very cute video I would just like to correct a little here I'm a proper Marathi Mulgi from Mumbai........achar is called lonch in Marathi and theecha is a different dish which is made with spicy green chillis and peanuts.......... Also I would like to give u suggestion the pink blouse piece Sarah gifted u is every pretty but nauvari saree looks more pretty with the contrast colour blouse so it will look really beautiful if u pair it with a green colour blouse 💗💚

Okay so I am also a maharashtrian so correct me if I am wrong, Aachar and Thecha are 2 different things Aachar which in marathi is called Loncha (लोणचे) the one which you had and Thecha is a different thing which is made of Green chillies, Garlic, oil and mustard seeds which is super super superrrrr spicy.

Hey Shalini, Have been watching your vlogs, few corrections: - Achar is "Loncha" in marathi - Thecha is a very spicy version on chutney could be red/green techa. Also, loncha, thecha, chutney all are different.. 😅 - Puranpoli is not as same as the gul (or gud/jaggery) poli. Puran poli is made of daal and gul poli is made of gul which basically we prepare on Sankranti.. Being a maharashtrian and a foodie i thought of correcting the details here.. Waise itna khana dekh k i feeling hungry now 😂 Best luck 😊😊

Not critisim but FYI... Achar and techa are two different thing achar is called lonch (लोणचं )and techa is crushed fresh green chilly peanuts and garlic which is spicy. Also ShankarPali is the right word... And bhakarwadi is gujrati dish but chitale bhakarwadi is the most famous in Maharashtra. Jwellery choker is called chinchpeti (चिंचपेटी)and long called tanmani(तनमनी), the hair pin is called khopa खोपा (you can see it in bajirao mastani cause it's peshwa style) that bindi is chandrakore चंद्रकोर (cnadra means moon ) Will love to see you in maharashtrian look🥰🤩

Just yo make it clear for you all is nauvari is basically 9meter in length as compare to regular one which 5.5 meter... And the paithani ( पैठणी) saree is pure silk handloom saree. This one is in artsilk... And Maharashtra has paithani, karavati, akola prints.. paithan is the place where paithani is made which is near Aurangabad and now in nashik too... Paithani has particular motif thats mostly parrots and peacocks..

Vada pav , sabudana vada, pav bhaji , misal pav, Actually thecha isn’t the Marathi word for pickle, the correct word is ‘loncha’ and thecha means mirchi ki kind of chutney/paste accompaniment jaisa hota hai!! Puran poli is not gud ka roti , it has gud as an ingredient… I still live aarey dudh and palonji … And even amul dudh i live but it turned out i am lactose intolerant and amul dudh merko traas deta hai and aarey milk merko immune kar diya tha tab tak… 😂 Mini bhakarvadi is love … Marathi me its ‘shankarpali’ and gujrati me its ‘shakarpara’ … Bhajni chakli i love but it gives me acidity hota, but butter chakli is love! Mamledar misal ❤ Dabeli nashta i used to get wen i used to come home from tuition…memories😅 Chotu Tilgul ❤ Fatafat goli 😂😂😂❤❤

I am from Gujarat. Chakli, Bhakarwadi, Dabeli, Shrikhand, til ke laddoo. these are all Gujarati dishes as well. I can see a lot of similarities in the two states. Some years back, Gujarat and Maharashtra were one state called "The Bombay State" , our similarity in food conveys a lot.
