IMO, when it comes to singing, what I appreciate more than just raw voice talent is individual quirks and uniqueness. There could be 2 singers singing the same song, one clearly superior in terms of skill and quality of voice, and the other being not as great but uses more individual quirkiness and confidence, and I could easily prefer the second person.

I remember watching this live around 4 months ago and if I recall this was the main highlight during that Mumei's unarchived karaoke stream. Mumei nail Beat It perfectly and she sang it like she owned the song. I remember was vibing to this too. Right after this unarchived karaoke stream ended, I was insanely hook to this and was waiting for someone to upload Mumei singing this song as it would a pity if we wouldn't have seen this talent of hers, and is how I come across this video 4 months ago.
