I was fortunate enough to grow with these guys. I first saw them at bonnaroo playing for only a couple hundred people then over the next few years they would get better spots at festivals and then all the sudden they were one of the biggest bands in the world playing for 100,000 people. My wife dragged me by my stubborn ear to a computer and said you HAVE to listen to this song, i just KNOW you will love it….that song was ‘little Lion Man’ and i was hooked instantly! I must of watched that video 100 times that day. That was way back in 09, that year, that song won australia’s best song as voted by Australian music fans on Australia’s Triple J hottest 100 countdown!! I have had the honour of seeing them live on each of their 3 tours to australia and they have grown each time and cannot wait for them to return here so i can watch them again! They are my favourite all time band!!

And it's very sad, that I'll probably never be able to visit their concert, i live in Belarus and i speak russian, so yeah :,) And I'm also really sad that Winston Marshall had to leave the band... The vocals are hard to understand, but the ones that I could hear shout that this man is PROPHETIC. Beloved is one of the best worship songs in existence. Lover of the Light as well. I saw on the news today that he is being attacked because he liked a book that is apparently not approved by the cancel culture. So they want to cancel him, but he responded with an incredibly humble message, and now he is accused by conservatives of "caving" to the left because he didn't push back enough. I had heard of Mumford & Sons, but had never heard any of their songs. I came hear because of the news reports. But I am so impressed with his music, his band, and his message. AWESOME!!! God bless him!!! God please continue to draw him closer to You, and protect him from all of the fiery darts of the enemy. I see his response to the attacks as a perfect example of true Christian humility.

Saw Mumford & Sons in Portsmouth VA a few years back and Lumineers a couple days later in the same place. Both shows were absolutely amazing. The crowd was rockin the whole time. Both shows felt so spiritual. The Lumineers actually came off stage and played for the people in the grass. They said when they went to concerts thats the place theyd be. Both those groups are so talented. Tried to see Mumford & Sons again but the damn show sold out instantly.
