look at the tiny detail of his thumbnail growing when it's outside the time bubble, what a perfect little touch
@Leto8520 күн бұрын
It sure is, but I was wondering if his hand shouldn't be instantly amputated instead? His body moves at a different speed through time than his hand does. There can't be any bloodflow either then because if it did, where did the energy required for nail growth came from in the first place? Despite the continuity errors this version of The Time Machine and especially this scene stays one of my favourites of all time.

The 2002 movie did a wonderful job of capturing the sense of flowing through time, very faithful to HG Wells;' original text: “The landscape was misty and vague. I was still on the hillside upon which this house now stands, and the shoulder rose above me grey and dim. I saw trees growing and changing like puffs of vapour, now brown, now green; they grew, spread, shivered, and passed away. I saw huge buildings rise up faint and fair, and pass like dreams. The whole surface of the earth seemed changed-melting and flowing under my eyes."

Well This Film Even though it was a Remake of the 1960 Classic which was Made 1 Year before Simon Wells The Director of this Film and Great-grandson of H.G. Wells was Born, Yes it is a Fact I Think Simon wanted to keep as much of the original as much as he could Intact while Showing how Technology Advances. The Time Machine is much like the 1 Used by Rod Taylor with the Discs acting as a Flux-Capacitor To Encapsulate the Machine in a Tachyon Time Bubble, Created by the Electricity around it, and as Ron mallett States Like the Spoon Stirring the Coffee.

Time Travel Rules 1. Don't change history only observe 2. Only spend 5 mins in the past/future to prevent any mistakes 3. Don't tell anyone so history is not changed 4. If history is changed go back and change it back

I could obey those rules. I know a lot of people will try to change history like stopping hitler or stopping the bombing of Hiroshima. But to do that would change history. Many lives saved during wwii will result in many deaths that weren’t supposed to happen. Thus making certain people non existent. For example my grandfather would have kept fighting in Japan and probably would have eventually died and I wouldn’t exist if we didn’t drop the atomic bomb.

The sun & moon become ribbons of light. Rivers become canyons, mountains crumble like sand castles. An ice age & glaciers pass like a rain shower. Forests come & go like gusts of wind. Reminds me of a song called 'countless skies', not to be confused with the band with the same name. "Countless times below me Rivers rose and fell Ageless stones eroding out Across the endless swell Songs to pave the seasons Wounds to follow birth Cries to carry through the night Wombs to feed the earth Countless skies above me Each unlike the next Lines of more than moon and sun Glimpses of a text Countless hands have sought me Reaching out in vain Permanence observes without Compassion or disdain Flames to greet the harvest Storms to face in awe Winds to weave through every wood Walls to dull the road All that is will pass Countless waves around me Strong until the last Leaning into dimming dreams All that was has passed"

Scott Cupp What’s fascinating (and what I teach my students) is that they actually improved the beginning by giving the Time Traveler motivation to build the time machine! Even the time travel sequences are better, involving fresnel lenses which lend credibility to the award winning special effects. It’s the second half that goes haywire. You blew up the time machine? Really? And somehow thought a psychic albino mutant with a British accent would help things?! (I’m pretty sure Jeremy Irons just wanted to be in the movie and they wrote him in ) I’ll even admit the library Artificial Intelligence makes the fact that they all still speak English after one million years easier to handle. Well, perhaps, as an avid fan of the book, I just expected too much... now...with your revelation, my hopes soar again! Please let this be the definitive version!

It can be used just by watching a video scene, and the warcraft goes back, where it happened. When brought back, a new body is required. Although it's difficult to put down in simple words all the things that makes this song to the masterpiece that it is, I feel like it simply has all different kinds of emotions baked into it, which makes it so incredibly breathtaking. It has the emotional part, the optimistic build up and then the epic part, all of which responded well to my feelings back then. I've come back to listen to this song every year since, and will do the same for many years to come. There aren't many songs I can recall the exact time and place to when I heard them the first time. But this one sure sure left a mark on me. Thank you, Sebastian. You made something very very special.

El violin en trémolo junto a su respiracion agitada y la caida del collar con el estruendo del timbal.... Es impresionante,,, creo esta obra supera al propio director musical, felicitaciones!!! Lo veo una y mil veces.
