I personally enjoyed using this sort of setup as it was a completely different experience but I was still capable of pulling lines, stippling, dot work. All of my essentials I am able to accomplish with the Mummy C1.

After 20 years of owning coil machines, I finally found the time to try to learn how to tattoo. I've watched your CNC "Q" videos. It says they also come with a 4.0 stroke, but you didn't mention it in any of your videos. I rebuilt my coils & learned a lot watching these videos, but thinking about upgrading... Saw your insta, I'm a fellow musician(40+yrs) & KZbinr. Hope all is well, take it easy.

Thank you for your time, feedback and support! I originally started with coils but quickly found that short style pen machines are my preference and for me easier to use, maintain, and they are more close to home for me. I have met some people where they only use a coil and I can understand as once we adjust to a setup it goes back to the rule " if it ain't broken don't fix it" haha I am also a musician as well and I also develop music software for music makers across the globe for my music brand called Reflekt Audio. Don't hesitate to reach out to me should you ever have any questions and I will do my best to assist you in the best possible direction.

@@DanielYuck I was asking about the 4.0 stroke. Reading it back it does seem like a statement. Did either of the "Q" pen machines come with it, like it says? Thanks
@FloridaManJack5613 жыл бұрын
@@evaderknives you actually have to order this part separately, they will not ship alone. so order it when you purchase your machine if you do buy the q2, I've used mine with the 3.5 cam, its not to bad, still weird feeling coming from coils
@evaderknives3 жыл бұрын
@@FloridaManJack561 Hey thanks, I notice it has a little star next to the 4.0, that's why i asked. Something seemed a little fishy.
@FloridaManJack5613 жыл бұрын
@@evaderknives yeah dude for sure lol, wish I wouldve noticed at purchase so I couldve got it also. I'm thinking of ordering the q1 and dedicating it to a shader with a 2.8 and 3.5 cam

It looks like a rotary/ coil hybrid. Instead if coils running the armature bar, the rotary motor pushes the a bar instead of magnetism. Pretty little machine though
@DanielYuck3 жыл бұрын
That thought came into my mind as well. It is a nice and solid little machine! If I may ask, what is the setup you are currently running on your end? Are you using a coil machine?
@OUTLAW_THA_KID3 жыл бұрын
@@DanielYuck yes, I sent a message from the giveaway video. Fingers crossed but yeah, it's a 10 year old coil machine kit from Amazon. Had to do alot of tuning and spring bending to get them to work right lol. Looking forward to checking out a rotary. I've been tattooed with rotary machines, my only experience tattooing with them was prison lol. I'm a beginner but serious about really doing it this time. Thanks for the vids💪

Hey Daniel, love your in-depth videos man How does this machine hold up as a liner? I'm interested in getting a machine with similar functioning as this one

I just might go with this machine 🤔 the ability to switch between barbs and carts is intriguing. I just started my apprenticeship and I have a decent machine but it was given to me. I eventually gotta buy my own
@mattramirez59442 жыл бұрын
Just a heads up you can make any coil machine take carts with an upgraded grip set up that adapts it for carts.

@Daniel Yuck Nice review on a nice machine but I think you possibly put the needle bar into the inkclaw grip wrongly with the slit in the loop at the top to the right when it should be to the left.

@DanielYuck2 жыл бұрын
That is a great question! Yes this machine is still buzzing away! I have tried pushing an assortment of needles from mags, round shaders including a 14 RS and I have also pushed larger RL configurations as well. I think it depends on what you wanted out of your setup. This is a nice solid machine especially for the money. What are you currently running on your end?
