Hey Splice, the mixing on this video is a bit rough. At times the music is drowning out the voice, or the voice is epically loud.

I don't know anything about music production but I paid for this and I love them so I think I will have to learn

You're right! I analyzed it and the loudness is -33.5 LUFS (normal is around -16 to -14LUFS)

bands need a member that has a background in production so bad to move the music further.
@Alpha-Andromeda4 жыл бұрын
What they need is to zone in on what “their sound” is. Sometimes the vocals sound like something out of Florence and the Machine other times like something else. Sometimes the beat is really clean, sometimes the layering is like a lot of noise. So whomever comes in (as a sound engineer as has been proposed by a comment below) needs to be someone who can help them figure out their unique sound DNA. 🧬 It’s THERE but then not there. If that’s what the “background in production member” that you’re recommending does then that’s welcome, but if they just come to impose them that’s obviously not what they need. From the body-language in their interview, I’m not sure the members of this band work well together. It’s like the girl in blue is the general and the others a bit willing, a bit unwilling soldiers. Having someone else in the team can make it feel less like a tug of war for you three. 🍀 We love ❤️ seeing talented women in music, especially electronic music. Good luck!! 🌟

@@Alpha-Andromeda It is so painfully obvious how little you know about MUNA as a band.

@@Alpha-Andromeda Nobody can tell an artist or band how they have to produce their own music. To have sucess does not exist a formula for that, it's question of trying, having discipline, patience. This have to be natural, the best thing is to not put too much effort
