I found that best attempt at making an AKM and AKMS is by taking the RPK and converting it to AKM. Sure you will still have the heavy receiver and RPK sights. But you will have a ribbed dust cover and it will get rid of the folding stock latch and buttons.

You could also make AKG-47 from the AK-103 with the AKM barrel,wood stock,and that big muzzle brake but it still retained the folding stock latch. I'm just dreaming that someday they'll add an AK-50 variant to this game.

a few problems with the AKs that weren’t mentioned. the AK-103 and AK-105 are missing their third rivet, or “steel pin” in the front trunnion. the stocks are a mess. the “ivanov” and RPK stocks lazily clip through the folding rear trunnion, but have the stock tang from a fixed trunnion. the kastov-rama stock somehow converts the rear trunnion hinge to a 4.5mm pin diameter, as apposed to the correct 5.5mm hinge pin. the prolite stock is somehow installed with the side folding rear trunnion, which would make it impossible to fold under like it’s supposed to. most muzzle devices on the AK-103 and AK-105 are lazily glued on to the end, since the thread size is too large for most of them. the 45 round mag on the 5.45x39mm AKs, which is based on the RPK-74M molot magazines, is missing its reinforcement ribs on the sides. there are probably more i can’t think of, but these are just the ones i could remember at the moment. great video as always!!

The SEF trigger pack from the HK21 is an old selector from the original HK guns, it just happened to be on that specific MP5 clone The AR57 can use rifle buffer tubes if you run a spacer in the back The AUG in 9mm uses the same ejection port on the earlier models as the conversion is just a drop-in kit Other than that pretty good breakdown

For one the AR-57 LLC explicitly said that it's not compatible for Rifle Length Buffer Tubes (it's in one of their instructional videos).That's how I gathered my info. I am aware of the SEF trigger group for the HK21. I was just pointing out how they just ported over the PTR trigger group model from the MP5. Also note that the HK21 doesn't have the triangle shape pattern as found in PTR trigger group unlike the one in-game. I'm aware that the earlier AUG A1 Para conversions had the same ejection port but from my research, they had changed the ejection port for the A3 XS models.

@@munanchoinc i will say that even if AR57LLC says not to use rifle buffers and tubes, you can do it, the only major problem it induces is excessive wear on one bolt under rapid fire. That “PTR” trigger group is an exact copy of the old SEF fire control groups. It doesn’t have the triangle in game presumably to make it “legally different” for stupid reasons And I haven’t noticed any type of change from the ejection port from the old to the new AUGs, when I researched the “AUG A3 XS” all I could find was airsoft and non-guns.

I was so amazed by the revolver reload, but was so disappointed when I noticed missing primer strikes. I thought it was my graphics settings but after turning it to the highest, they were still missing. It's not a big deal since it doesn't affect gameplay or anything, but since they went into such detail for the rest of the reload, it seems like its missing something :(

Technically speaking, the Kastov-74u in 7.62 does exist (although it's a custom made relic). The real name of it is the AKMSU but it's an underfolder instead of a sidefolder.

So funnily enough I have done Iraqi reloads on Draco's in the past (ak civilian market "pistols") without a stock. The key is using your thumb to "pinch" the top cover with your index finger holding the charging handle in place. Then once your off hand is finished reloading and is now back on the foregrip you then release the charging handle. It's weird and not intuitive but when I was dealing with some out of spec mags from korea and egypt not necessarily liking the tolerances on a romanian franken pistol most likely built on a budget us receiver. In those cases of tolerances just not playing nice that reload is one of the only ways to actually chamber a round and start a mag.

On the Iraqi reload you can have your pointer and middle finger on the charging handle while you have your thumb in the top of the pistol grip so technically you could do it with no stock

I love this channel. I love firearms but i can't access them in my country so we don't have a culture of firearms here. But i always like to know the details. And in the last 9 or 10 years i started to look more weapon content because i started to play FPS games. I love how you show the mistakes in the game. Most of them i think are intentional to escape license and gunlaws all around but still very interesting that they can go away with these because people don't know much knowledge to notice the differences anyways so... What i know i learned from videos so i consider myself a "noob" and always learning new details. I haven't bought the full game yet but for those who played i wanna ask something: I tried the beta and i feel like it is too loud, there is too much camera shake while shooting (what some called visual recoil) and smoke. I understand that i has a more "realistic" approach despite being a completely arcade game. i think it should have less visual recoil and be less louder. What you guys think? Cheers

From what i heard, on the M1014, the player didnt press the action release, therefore another round didnt load in when they pull the charging handle back, while on the Marlin, the player press the loading port with their pinkie finger, preventing another round to load in. Again, this is just what i heard, im not a gun nerd, so most likely i would be wrong.

@@connorgannon1153 Nguyen is correct on the Benelli, and if you watch the Marlin's animation, the PC reaches into the side gate and physically prevents it from loading a round. With the M4, it has a "cartridge drop" control that must be depressed to release a shell IF the shotgun is cocked (if the trigger has been pulled on an empty chamber, you can still load a shotgun shell into the magazine tube and pull the bolt to chamber it without using the cartridge drop). It was designed this way to make it easy to switch shells for MIL/LEO use without having to fumble with another shell ejecting when you open the bolt. The M4 is a good shotgun, but has a convoluted operating system that's tailored to tactical use; hopefully you can manhandle one and check it out for yourself someday :)

To be fair. It's not like the current Russian Army is equipping it's soldiers with the AK-15 anytime soon. Many of them are still equipping soldiers with rusty AKMs. The cartel however is now more well equipped than the Mexican Police force. Many of them have MK 18s and Anti Material Rifles. Privately owned and maintained firearms with custom upgrades based on user preference and decor.
