@@munanchoinc I think the ak24 was supposed to be a futuristic Russian rifle modeled after the ak17 like you told us, so I guess it doesnt matter of it has custom rear sight since its a futuristic weapon, I also think weapons in this game can use custom futuristic anti material round, also the mcs880 was also a custom futuristic shotgun like all company copies the sake shotgun design so it doesnt matter of its a hybrid

@@masont.3198 i dont talk english but i explind this....the NGSW proyect give (for textron proyect) a "powered rails". giving power to attachments and (in the future) HUDs/ information. but the funy thing here is....this rails needs a battery to works

i can't come up with a good reason other than "it's military sci-fi/it takes place in 2042". the thought of needing power on a rail system just kinda makes it slightly more unreliable, maybe there's something else about it that i missed

@@BasedBelkan8492 since the rail can power attachments, perhaps it allows attachments to be less bulky by not having to carry its own batteries? And then one single high-capacity battery can power all the attachments on a gun, reducing weight on the gun and so that the soldier needs to carry less batteries. But, if the powered rail stops working, there goes all the attachments, so a double edged sword I guess

On the bright side, when you switch ammo type, you can see that when you shoot, the casing that gets ejected is different depending on the ammo type! Also, maybe they used a "futuristic electric rail" so that you can easily and quickly (instantly) switch between sights great video as always

No , it's completely unnecessary as all the optics featured don't require it. For a world that's losing alot of resources, they sure have alot of powered electronic rails. It would be completely different if there's new sci fi sights.

Most of the BF community agree that 2042 is not a battlefield because of the how it plays, missing immersion + class system, poor design choices, less teamplay etc. I think you get what I’m trying to say here.

Fun fact, the in game Glock is a Gen 4 17, no such Glock 18 was ever made as a Gen 4 Glock only made the 18 up to 3rd Gen. And Dice has the audacity to make the frame's integral rail mount useless by mounting another one to it. Its not an 18 since it lacks the compensator cuts

For all those that comment that it is the future so that futuristic powered rails are completely fine. The optics used in this game cannot be mounted without a picatinny rail and it wouldn't make a lot of sense in BF 2042 as well since it is set in a world where resources are low.

First, you should remember that BF took place in 2042, not 2021 so there will have changes of technololy (in-game), such as attachment rail. Second, 1:24 you don't have to say that because I feel it's not necessary

The AK-24 looks exactly like the AK-12, even though it's supposed to be a sixth generation Kalashnikov rifle.

AK-24: Why it has M4 tube style stock from older AK-12 instead of newer ugg boot from current production e.g. AK-19? DD M4 V7: Stupid charm loop is connecting the upper and lower reciever. Would be impossible to open the weapon for dissasembly/cleaning/maintenance.

Umm the single action revolver is kinda dumb. It should be double action and I don't like some of the reloads for the firearms. For instance. The sniper rifle. Too me if you were to reload, you pull the bolt back, remove the magazine, insert a new mag and then push the bolt back. To me that saves time rather than reload then pull and push the bolt back.

It's based on the Taurus. It's a single action revolver. The Sniper rifle reload is done either way.

You didn't dig deep enough lmao. SIG Sauer MCX Spear can only use .308-related calibers so 6.8x51 NGSW, 6.5 Creedmoor and 7.62 NATO (.308, of course) currently right now and the model in game uses 5.56x45 NATO and this happens with pretty much all the other guns Not to say the bazillion underloaded mags and fictional and illogical (unlike MW19 where the fictional mags actually make sense capacity wise)
