Man, I love Italian people. One of my best friends is Italian and whenever we go over to his house, his mother always makes the biggest feast. And you *have* to eat, even if you're not hungry! Good times, great episode.

To meet someone with a passion for food like Mario, That would truly be an amazing experience. Nothing processed, nothing that's been done in a factory at all, just simple, absolutely amazing ingredients, turned into perfection

I love Mario's cantina ! It looks well stocked :) As an Italian daughter of two Barese people I grew up in St-Leo like that with a huge cantina. We were a family of 7, with our grandparents & aunts & uncles always nearby, it was well stocked & no one would starve. We had enough food to feed anyone a feast if they dropped in unexpectedly. I miss those days :) Thanks for the video it made me smile & reminisce. I miss speaking Barese, even though we have not forgotten it, we don't speak it often.

Man "My father use to tell me anything man does, you can do it" that is exactly my Nonno RIP I wish everyone could experience this Italian-Canadian generation they truthfully are an amazing snippet of time. An ancient culture and lifestyle that was captured in Limbo. Italy progressed and they stayed the same its amazing but its heartbreaking seeing with each year the Italian Canadians pass away. Best generation ever

IrishBard Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Monetarily speaking that TM room as worth thousands just because of its contents. But more importantly the way the food is preserved, prepared and stored is completely priceless. This is art, economy and efficiency at its best.
