Gonna give some difference with LN: The conversation with Cid and Gamma felt really short in anime. In LN, Gamma wonders if Cid would realize she changed her hairstyle and when Cid says don't ask why, she is mortified that still can't figure out what her master is thinking and planing. She remembers what others reported about the Sanctuary and how Cid acted on his own, different from the plans, but at the end, it was the most effective and better the way Cid did (from their perspective) and how nobody could figured it out until everything was over. The one that does Cid's makeup is Nu, instead of a machine. After the disguise is over, Cid does compliments about Gamma's new hairstyle and how it suits her well, sending Gamma to the afterlife in pure bliss. Fun Facts about the "McDonald's" of that world: Yes, is founded by Gamma. It belongs with Mitsugoshi brand and it was based on the "knowledge" imparted by Cid. Since every employees are numbers of SG, Cid get's meals for free just by walking in. Cid thinks it's because he knows Gamma, but in reality, they are all working for him. Since he gets it for free, he is planning to repay Alpha's promise to buy her a meal with this some time during the 300 years he plans to live. (yeah, he doesn't even plans to spend his money into buying her a meal... the cheapstake...)

It's funny alpha need to buy it even though she's considered a boss too. Also it's wasn't a Mcdonald. It was supposed to be tuna King but I guess for visual gag they changed it to Mc even though I think the author was trying to make it look like it was burger King or something haha

@@windrunner8497 Yeah, in the LN and Manga is a parody of Burger King, but in anime is a parody of Mc. Even the shorts after the episodes referes as McRonald's. Anime tends to parody McDonald's way more than other fast food chain.

More precisely, Kageno means "of shadow(s)" or "of the shadow(s)", while Cid derives from the Arabic word al-sid which means lord, ruler, etc So if you read his name the Japanese way, as Kageno Cid, it literally means "Lord of Shadows"

according to the Side Stories, Cid gave Zeta advice on how to make the sandwich along with creating Tartar Sauce and both Onion Rings and French Fries recipes. Zeta brought Gamma and Delta out to brainstorm how to raise funds for Shadow Garden while fishing because Gamma couldn't figure it out. Once Lunch was made via the Tuna King Sandwiches, Gamma brought the idea to mass produce the food and sell to the masses saying that it Shadow's Wisdom and foresight in teaching Zeta how to make the sandwich to become the cornerstone in Shadow Garden's development. There's also a giant fish fight in there at the end, but that's not important.

So they didn't explain it well in the anime. Cid has crazy good detection magic skill. Even gives him a little bit of foresight, you can detect the doors that are hidden and all kinds of stuff. It's kind of like Daredevil sonar sense, plus Spider-Man Spider Sense, but it also detects Magic. Cid can even read minds if he wants to. But he doesn't care what people think so he doesn't use it much.

Jimi means Simple or Basic... the NA is a way to make a noun into kinda like an adjective... they translated that as mundane...

Honestly, that's probably due to the beatings she took from Delta all the time when they were young. Gamma understood she was weak and learned how to endure and protect herself from damage using her magic if I'm remembering correctly. I may be misremembering this, but even though she's known as Gamma the Weak, she's also known to have the highest defensive capabilities by sheer endurance and magic defense.

Having read the light novel first. It's interesting not being surprised by events but seeing how they play out visually instead of in my imagination. So Far I am quite impressed and amused. Looking forward to seeing the whole arc. I agree Cid and his weird obsessions, total obliviousness and world which seems designed around him are great and some of the most fun I've had this and last season.

Rose my best favorite waifu 💛✨ Its time has come to be the one that outshines the other waifus a lot and that a tremendous show is coming in this second part of volume 2 of the novel!!🔥 Obviously Rose wasn't happy with the engagement and she wants to be with Cid, but the reason behind it will be revealed with each episode. I really love the character and how it develops. I love how Jimina Senen's character makes an appearance for the first time, a mysterious character who is said to be the same as Shadow, but who knows... only very questionable rumors... 😎🧐🍷 to see how this mysterious subject proceeds in the tournament. Great character without a doubt and full of an air of mystery😵 The next episode will be poetic and elegant if it reaches a certain part hahaha

Cid is good at faking... even if he is weird while doing it... golden boy MIGHT actually be decent at measuring stuff just like Blue haired knightlady... but Cid fooled them both... That would be the more literal translation. Mundane Mann is better imo because it keeps the original meaning while making it sound more natural and like a real name, which is always harder to do than literal translations but usually leads to a better understanding from audiences who aren't familiar with the original language and the culture associated with it. That's why MGS1's dialogues seem better written than every game afterwards, because they shifted to literal translation after it due to Kojima being petty and stupid

I don't know if it's because they are using a computer to do the Translating subs or if they are doing this on purpose, but his Name is not "Perv-AssHat" it's "Doem Ketsuhat" The Pun is that it would translate to Perv asshat. the same problem with them translating "mundane Man" to " Average Youngman" Subs have gotten so lazy lately with these computer generated translation, it's making the show seem overly childish and is taking away from the actual good story.
