Bon ( shaminisim ) first and oldest religion in the world Root of religions 🙏 Bon, often regarded as the indigenous spiritual tradition of Tibet, is sometimes considered a precursor to various religious practices in the region. It encompasses a rich tapestry of rituals, beliefs, and philosophies that emphasize harmony with nature and respect for spiritual forces. While some scholars suggest that Bon has influenced the development of Buddhism and Hinduism-especially in Tibetan culture-it's essential to note that Hinduism is primarily rooted in ancient Indian traditions, and Buddhism emerged later as a distinct religion founded by Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha). Thus, while Bon may have contributed to the spiritual landscape of Tibet and shared certain elements with Buddhism, it is an oversimplification to label it as the root of all religions or to claim that Buddhism and Hinduism wholly follow the Bon tradition. Each religion has its own unique origins, teachings, and historical developments. ◦
